explain why dragon's dogma is good
not possible, as experiencing a video game is a completely subjective experience, you should try the game and make your judgement
>muh mostly meaningless character creator except for height magically determining your equip weight and stamina
>muh lolis that you can't actually do anything with
>muh metatextual story that's been done hundreds of times before in other mediums
>muh lack of fast travel even though literally everyone cheeses the port crystals as soon as they get them anyway
>muh gimmicky climbing feature that becomes wholly inefficient as soon as you get an archer or mage

i tried playing it twice and thought it was atrocious

Nah, senpai. I'd say Talos 1 lobby comes close, maybe even Crew Quarters. Alex's suite is nice, tho.

What is your top favorites vidya lores?
The ones that really makes you wanna know more about that game series universe.
If you want also point out your favorite parts.
Mine is Elder Scrolls followed by Fallout's.
I love the races in ES and all the shit each of them have done in the universe, and how mindfucks like CHIM and Daedra realms are actually a thing.
Love how Fallout has all the human experiment vaults and I think it was a perfect idea for a game universe.
i dont know if it counts but Shadow of the Colossus
i love the abandoned city-like ruins and its fun to ponder their purpose like with the rings in the desert
>mfw i found out you could climb the temple
My favorite lore-verses are:
>Halo
>TES
>Evil Within
>MGS
>Silent Hill
>>387448671
I really liked exploring Shadow of the Colossus map but the lore is so left for imagination.
You can see ruins, simbols, stuff in the forest, the top of the tower, but the fact I will never know anything else about them kinda piss me off.
Especially considering there was never sequels.
My brain cannot handle this character. I've always thought she had a unique kit, so I gave her a try earlier and this is the strategy I ended up using.
>find medkit (or 2 nearby each other) close-ish to area of combat
>hack one of the medkits, hack the other next time i come back
>throw teleporter near medkit(s)
>go invisible for flank
>once low on hp or timer on teleporter almost run out, warp back to medkits
>rinse and repeat
Seemed to be working for me pretty well, but things fall apart when they approach your medkits, because then you can't run away to get the element of surprise once again. I ended up getting focused down pretty quickly by 2 or more enemies any time this happened.
Furthermore, if you die, your entire setup basically falls apart, since you're typically unable to get back to the medkits, which means setting up somewhere else or just playing standard dps (in which case, might as well switch).
Am I doing something wrong? Looking for real critique and advice regarding my game plan, and other possible game plans regarding this character.
>inb4 "best strategy is to pick another character"
She's fun as hell and feels fresh, if you don't like that get off quickplay and go to comp.

The 360 has never had a good RPG excl-
>Fable 2
>good
Mass Effect 1 was 360 exclusive
>>387448458
And here you are posting a good part of Fable 2. It was great, fuck off.
How would you do it? This is my control mapping
>Square = Main combo (8 hits maximum)
>Down + Square = Uppercut (as the preset move)
>Triangle = Sub combo (4 hits maximum, meant for kicks)
>Down + Triangle = Alternate attack
>Circle = Grab attacks
>Down + Circle = Alternate Grab attack
>Square + triangle = Guard breaker (as the preset move)
>X = Just interaction.
>L1 = Release God Hands
>L2 + Square, Triangle, Circle = Roulette (You can now asign a technique to each button, and when you hit the roulette wheel in the right point, you get a damage bonus)
>R2 = Lock on (Change lock on enemies with the d-pad)
>R1 = Change combat posture
>(You can choose a combat posture from different martial arts postures, you have the left and right postures. Also, you can set a different combo-build and Roulette techniques for each posture, so you can alternate between 2 combo-buids during a fight with pressing a button)
>L3 = Turn 360°
>Select = Taunt
Also
>Add more pre-set moves like dodging left/right+ triangle, you do a barrel kick, or dodging left/right+ square, you do an elbow to the jaw
>Add a counter attack that turns the enemy 180° when you dodge to left/right/forward in the exact time you get hitted
>Add submission and constriction moves for when the enemy is lying on the ground
>Add pre-set attacks for the God-Hands Mode
>Keep the same difficult system, and add one more level.
>Add a Rank System
>Make the Roulette attacks faster, so you can use them in-between combos
Aaalso...
>Add a continued-combo system (Similar to the dodge-offset moves from Bayonetta). You can keep your main/sub combo by holding the button you were using, then do another attack/dodge/taunt/roulette, then release that button and then keep pressing it, continuing the combo you were making before, without any interuption.
So what you think? Any other ideas?
Ok, then God Hand Thread!

I'd rather make a Wonderful 101 sequel, but at the end of each chapter there is a giant ass boss and you got to form Megazord to defeat him, and Megazord is done in the vein of God Hand.

DOOM 2016.
Titanfall 2 also had a neat campaign as well, but while good it wasn't the stand out feature of the game more of a supplement.
This is on sale right now on steam. Will I enjoy it? I liked the first one a lot. I enjoyed the second one as well. Third one was neat too though I didn't like it as much as the others, specifically the psychopaths. But I still had fun playing it.
Related, but I never played Off The Record. Does it add anything to the overall story or is it like a spinoff?
It's essentially a reskin of the third game.
If you get it, I'll kill you.

Zelda meets God of War.
Only started playing two before I lost all my shit, it seemed like a decent game with neat combat, but I can't form much of an opinion.

Gee. i don't know.
sup fags, I'm interested in getting a PS4 but I'm not sure if I should. I'm really only interested in a few games for it now like Bloodborne, P5, Yakuza, Gravity Daze 2, and for MHWorld before it comes out for the PC, so I'm wondering if it's even worth it. Not interested in multiplats cause I already have a PC, and I'm not interested at all in western movie games like TLoU/Uncharted/whatever else.
What other worthwhile exclusives are there for the system? Does the price for it drop often?
>>387445982
Uncharted trilogy isn't a movie game in the slightest. Stop falling for shitty /v/ memes, kiddo. You have to be 18+ years old to post here.
