While I agree that Majora's Mask is the superior game I think more people are likely to be turned off by the time limit system.
Yes, if you are able to give it a chance, it objectively adds to the game both through gameplay and the thematic aspect.
However, if you don't have the patience to try it out you're just not going to enjoy it. You might time out once off guard and lose all your shit and dungeon progress and abandon the game in frustration.

Ocarina of Time is a more welcoming experience.

I loved ocarina of time but I was a poorfag so I never got the cartridge for majoras mask.
Should I emulate it right now?

It's from 2004. It's thirteen years old and was rushed out on a prerelease source engine.

Pretty sure there is a way to hack them, but you can just run through them and it won't matter.

Just break the electrical box before the lasers, it disables them. But they are doable if you're careful enough.

Yeah, the feeding on guards thing in combat areas happens from time to time, but it's not that common. Not to mention that you're gonna be fighting a lot more supernatural beings later on so feeding in combat areas won't be as much of a thing, you'll probably never encounter it again.

It's turn based using action points so kinda like fallout but with more abilities and the terrain mattering, fire example if you cast an electric spells on a puddle you can stun enemies in it
