I'm genuinely curious, /v/. I see a lot of talk on here about pic related but I feel like it'll be DOA on or shortly after release because of the lack of advertisement and hype. Plus, with the recent release of Lawbreakers trying to capture the same audience, or at least a niche crowd, it'll be looked over in favor of For Honor, and if not that, then the other big hits such as Overwatch and R6:Siege, despite the difference in genres.
Should I be excited for this game? How will this game differentiate itself from the flop of Lawbreakers? Was LB because of Nexus and Cliffy B?

I am feeling the same way but I think it's more of how will the, somewhat, single player portion play out. $30 is a lot to drop on a game that could fail outright on launch. I'm just curious on why people are excited for it.

I've been wondering the same thing. They've admitted there's not much in the way of a single player game, and if all that's left to do is unlock moves and fight other players, I'm not sure why I should bother.

the problem is that each class has specific presets and you can't mix different features with each other like lips, eyes and cheekbones.
Basically the creators want you to only create pretty characters, by narrowing everything down so you don't create ugly ones.

Hey /v/. Some friends and I are trying to have ourselves a night of playing classic TF2. Before the hats. Before the My Little Pony shit infested it. Before it went free to play and the quality of its average user became inversely proportional to the amount of people playing.
Before matchmaking. Before Mann vs Machine. Before "modern" UI. It was simple. Good, simple TF2. You launch it up, see that background image, hear the music, and know you're ready to invade some bases with an extremely cool retro, 60's era design to them. No wacky shit. Subtle.
Anyway, I was getting carried away, but if you have TF2 1.0.1.8 installed (the 2008) copy, hop on. We want to play.

Wouldn't the UniB and Persona characters have an unfair advantage over the RWBY and Blazblue characters due to UniB characters having massive reach and Persona characters pretty much all being Carl Clovers on roids?

Hollow knight isn't a major problem because of the simplicity of the controls but that almost makes it worse, how hard would it have been to bind movement to WASD, jump to space, dash to shift and attack and focus to the mouse buttons?
