Yes, but I guess it depends on how much repetition you are willing to put up with because Vanillaware unfortunately doesn't have enough time or money to invest into more art assets~
Still a fun game even if you're not willing to go through all of the playthroughs. Though I do warn you, there are 5 characters whose stories have to be played through completely in order to unlock the next and Velvet is last as far as I remember.

Because it's contrived and uninspired. There's no real reason for it to happen and the characters would be worse off if it did. Sonic is one of the most generic paint by numbers by the books main characters ever, but the one thing you can give him credit for in being different is not going for the typical obvious in your face love interest. He actively wants no part of it, and that in and of itself is more dynamic than what other characters have.

In case you didn't realize the Planescape settings comes from the tabletop D&D and it's very expansive. The game barely scrapes the surface of it.
Although the setting itself isn't very detailed, it's more of guidelines for GMs to make their own planar adventures. So a lot of stuff is left up for GMs and players imaginations.
