I didn't like the most recent game that much. Some of the extra doors rely too heavily on gimmicks that the game never teaches or explains to you at all.
The SNES is my favorite. A lot of the areas are really open and it was fun to spiderman around everywhere but it also had a lot of really tough stages you'd find every once in a while.

It's pretty depressing that THIS is what it took to make people wake up to what Valve has done. Nearly ten years of shrugging, and everyone seems surprised. It was crystal clear years ago. I guess the silver lining is that because the anger was bottled up for so many people it's that much more potent now that nobody can possibly deny what they've become.

Geniune question: Do you think Bethesda can get away with another game like this?
There's been a discontent with Bethesda's video games for a long time, lots of dedicated fans are displeased with casualization and a general lack of polish; but with Fallout 4 I honestly thought this unhappiness reach a level it's never done before. Game's like Morrowind and Oblivion were considered groundbreaking for their time, but with the rise of Open World games Bethesda now has some stiff competition; and their games are still very janky and unpolished, and they're still continually removing features from previous installments.
Fallout 4 might have been a massive success and loved by normalfags the world over, but even in mainstream circles there started being rumblings of the game being a disappointment. When TESVI rolls around, will this level of quality cut it?
