No it's good actually.

I pirated it because I noticed a tonne of people's Steam reviews rapidly changing from negative to positive.

I've now put in around 50 hours. It's actually good now and I'm honestly amazed that they didn't give up.

I'd buy it but I cannot forgive what they did in the first place.

Just pirate it and have fun fellas.

Turn-based strategy game.
You fire your cannon at one of the target territories on the map
This agitates the residents of that area.
They come to your castle to stop you from destroying their territory
You defend yourself by deploying your troops beforehand, equipping them, and modifying your castle's rooms/paths.
You then have sex with your succubus to power up the cannon again.

I was super excited for it until I've read the recent IGN interview. Especially this part:

There is gameplay. I'm subbed to gamespot and there is a 7min and 35min gameplay vids in my youtube subs.
I don't want to watch it though as this is the last new game I will be buying this year.

When people decided they aren't going to buy games because the gameplay looks cool but instead look if the cutscenes seem interesting.
There's plenty of examples, 95% of the games releasing these days don't sell because of their gameplay, they sell because they had a high marketing budget and pretty pixels.
