If it's 5.10 MB exe file then that should be the correct file. I got it to work by opening AlphaROMdiE.exe first, which should pop up a blue box with a crying girl. You can leave the boxes unchecked. Then, while you have the folder and alpharomdie both open, drag and drop 結城友奈は勇者である.exe onto the crying girl's face, as if you were going to drag and drop a file into a folder. Your cursor should turn into an arrow with a plus sign on it, then release the mouse button. Some boxes will pop up, and after you click through them, you should see a shortcut to 結城友奈は勇者である.exe appear in your folder. You can play the game by double-clicking the shortcut. The game will ask you to choose a resolution, then you can launch the game by pressing the button in the middle of the bottom of the window. Hope this helps!

Try setting AlphaROMdiE.exe to run the program as an administrator in its properties, under the compatibility tab? The shortcut seems to pass the game's exe file through AlphaROMdiE.exe every time you play it, so that might help. It runs for me whether or not I have it in administator mode, but I have Windows 10, and I've heard that the games were designed for 7 and act weirdest under 10.

If it makes you feel any better, there's no big plot revelations or anything like that in the game, just a lot of cute girls doing cute things.

There's only one link in the pastebin for the first visual novel and that is the one which doesn't run. It shows up in Processes after trying to start it and then kills itself instantly. I have no idea what could be the cause.

Finally, after many hours of trying, it runs. My struggle has paid off. The suffering ends. Anon, you're guaranteed a spot inside the infinite space of Shinju's magical illusion realm now. The most likely answer is inconsistency, they simply didn't think about mentioning her complex about her scars in the LN or manga.
But I've thought about it and there are reasonable explanations for it:
In the onsen, she always had her towel to cover up her lewd parts, even when she stood up in front of everone. Her scars must be around the area her groin/butt or breasts if a frilly bikini can conceal them but a more revealing bikini can't. So it's possible that she was able to cover them up with her towel in that scene, and thus she could bathe without feeling embarrassed.
In the skinny dipping scene she was on guard while the others bathed, so it's likely that nobody saw her naked that time. Also, they were in the middle of the mountains at night, so it may have been too dark to see the others properly which would also explain why Chikage didn't react at all to Takashima standing naked in front of her.

The franchise usually makes a point of the Divine Era society being basically unchanged since Christian Era times save for the Taisha stuff, but the notion of Hero-fueled super science existing very much contradicts that. I'm curious to see if that line will end up being relevant to the plot and/or the eventual yuri end.

Speaking of the baidu link (>>2398252), from what I can tell (don't want to look *too* in depth and spoil myself on something), it seems to have NoWaYu LN raws and a few other things, but it's hard to make sense of what all of it is (or if all of it is there) without spoiling myself because some of it isn't too well organized. If it has everything for those, then I guess all that's missing is the first 6 chapters of the NoWaYu manga raws, the WaSuYu bonus chapter (Sonoko After), and the NoWaYu bonus chapter (Passed Baton) before I have all the raws for the main stuff. Would just be missing some side content and KuMeYu raws. Anyone have raws for any of that stuff? Or a more convenient mirror for the baidu stuff?

It's almost guaranteed to be just a shadow to be honest. It doesn't appear in any of the other frames and I'm sure they would have either made it more visually obvious or had a character directly point it out if they were going for the scar thing.

Is it just me or is there an unusually high amount of people mentioning how they plan on/already introduced their friends to YuYuYu lately? It's not a bad thing per se, but it always poses the risk of bringing cancer into the fanbase.
