Cannan X Maria
A classic.
>>2359342
I loved this series.Learn how to write her name, though. It's "Canaan"
I still love Liang Qi after years.
>>2359449I'm still mad about the end.
>>2359482
Canaan smiling after hearing about Alphard was cute.I still love Alphard/Canaan much more than Cannan/Maria.
>>2359559
Alphard is the literal worst and you should feel bad
>>2359559
She was smiling, looking up the sky, because that was the last place she saw Maria, and her new mission was to go to the same country as Maria.
And nah, you just like "hatesex" "ships", which isn't even the case here, because there is no real "ship" between them. The characters don't actually mean anything to you. Anyway, this is not the thread for you.
>>2359569
No, I still like them.
>>2359586
Did you read the OP?
>>2359559
I really don't see this happening. Alphaard is a mass-murdering terrorist and goes against everything Canaan stands for.
>>2359584
>The characters don't actually mean anything to you
I'm not the same person you were replying to (plus I'm more of a Canaan/Maria, Alphard/Liang Qi shipper), but what's your problem, dude? Who cares if someone likes hatesex ships. I can totally see why people loved the Alphard/Canaan hate dynamic.
>>2360058
For some reason I noticed some people get really angy over Alphard/Canaan.
>>2360061
*angry
I never see any discussion about this anime, not even on /a/.
I'm happy
>>2360061
I never joined any discussion about this series, and seeing all the Alphard/Canaan fanart around I always assumed it was a popular ship. Apparently I was wrong. Or at least it's not very liked in the western fanbase? I'm not sure why it attracts so much hate. There was definitely some kind of sexual tension between them, and I highly doubt it was not intentional.
>>2360072
It doesn't seem to have aged well, maybe. Too bad, because I enjoyed it a lot. It has everything I like: yuri, a cool female main character, a cool female antagonist, women fighting and shooting guns, not much het (or at least very secondary), and even a lesbian yandere.
>>2360080
I actually really like the ship, especially after finding out about their past. It was kind of cute that Alphard used to call her Ojou-san the first time they meet. And yeah there was some kind of sexual tension sometimes during their fights.
>>2360091
Then stop whining and post your Canaan/Maria.
>>2360105
meh, fine. I made another thread for everyone else. >>2360111
>>2360058
It was really Alphard's treatment of Liang Qi that made me hate her more than anything. Sure, Liang Qi was a rabid, psychopathic dog, but Alphard took what little humanity she had and used it to manipulate her and then tossed her aside. Completely soured me on the character. But I suppose the show succeeded in making a good villain? I've never been able to understand Alphard/Canaan shippers after that though. Most the fic even seems to be completely OOC AUs.
>>2360080
Well, is a good show with some yuri that no one knows or talks about, is the same thing with teppu
>>2360226
I never understood the Alphard/Canaan pairing either. I didn't involve myself with the Canaan fandom/fanarts until some years after watching it, and was taken aback by the fact that that ship is a thing.
>>2360402
Canaan.
>>2360072
It's an old serie that isn't really popular at all.
>>2360072
Probably because it was a huge let down. It wasn't very /k/, it wasn't very /u/. Soundtrack is probably better than the anime.
>>2360226
Didn't the game Canaan was based on explain why Liang Qi was so devoted to Alphard in the first place?
>>2363149
Yes. It also showed how Canaan and Alphard meet for the first time and it also explains why Alphard was wondering if Maria forgot about her.
It's pretty crack but I've always liked to imagine that the CIA girl would have sex with Canaan in exchange for information.
>>2363133
Definitely not the most famous Type-Moon's work.
>>2363191
Not really crack if it's plausible within the series.
I'm not personally a fan of Canaan x Alphard but I can see why women would like it, Alphard is really dreamy
>>2363191
I love this idea, now I need fanart. She's even named Natsume YURI, for god's sake.
>>2365399
I know, right?
>>2365853
>YURI
Missed opportunity.
>>2360378
It's not that good.
Good old Kisetsu
>Spike Chunsoft plans to localize and release the game for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows for western territories in Q1/Q2 2018.
I'm not sure how much content got changed between the VN/anime, and the VN might appeal less to /u/ because the anime is just based off one scenario and the rest is probably either non-romantic or hetshit, but still.
