It's a one off thing. M4 is inevitable (unfortunately), but they're not gonna put a new splash screen with them present or make duet songs in the future. It's so not Aikatsu.

The problem of M4 was not only that they were male characters
The problem is that they were horribly written
The second season, where they have not appeared really shows the potential that went to hell because of the simple existence of M4

Ako was a character that I never liked ... now we have it as a real Tsundere with a real rival and the character shows its hidden potential

The franchise is going through its worst financial moment, S2 can become your salvation or the last nail of the coffin

I was talking about the mobile game.

But yes, they were horribly written and had no purpose in the story other than Scamco wanting the fujoshi autismbucks. Apart from Subaru's annoying big brother routine, I hardly know the rest of the group. And yes, S2 showed that Aikatsu is at its best when they focus on actual idol activities and the female idols. And yes, Ako getting shipped with a rival female character is a great thing and the fan art of them are great.

Star is the real problem, the Shiptease in S1 is very real, but all M4 are terribly written, which made everything much worse and even quite stupid

The few episodes of Stars S2 have proven to be much superior and the lack of M4 is not only a coincidence

I'm still at episode 56, but... I'm glad Ako jumped into ship because Kirara was so very upset she wasn't with Yume, Rola and Mahiru, but she was extremely happy to see Ako.

Also I'm having trouble liking Koharu now that she's back. She was one my favorite idols in S1 though.

To be fair Eupho can only be considered bait at best and could only be considered Yuri by people who think that the Gataris or Twin Angel are Yuri

LWA has people who like couples who more or less settled on the first two made animated materials, The problem is that the real series did not intend to go the route "yuri" and that was made clear from the beginning... Now it seems that people desperately try to appeal to them because apparently it was their only real public, it's something really funny

Both are quite normal and I honestly consider Aikatsu better than both, even Stars is superior

I do not hate male characters just to exist, M4 is generally angry about how badly written they are and that there are people that's a good thing, because Twilight and 50 shades of Gray have fans, and I can swear that they are the same damn public (They may complain about DreAca but they were better written)

Jupiter in the Anime of Idolm@aster really fulfilled a better role than M4, they were not amorous interests and they worked like rivals (although it seems that one of them had chemistry with the producer)

Naoto and Sena were characters (not love interests) better written than they, people hate Sena ijustamente, was a designer and that's all and more or less is proof that there can be relations between a man and a woman without becoming something Romantic

New Photokatsu event in a few hours. What's neat about this event (apart from Aoi), is it's, I think, the first real Aoi event of the year (if not the very first one). It features costumes from the movie and some new ones like Secretary Sumire and policewoman Sakura.

I have 375 stars + the eventual 250 stars from the event, so... Please please let me get the PR card, RNG. ;_;

Additionally, PR Sexy Rin is up for grabs in the the medley event. Rin is the final card for the unique VCP set featuring sexy PR cards Juri, Madoka and Rin. Getting Rin will be hard if you didn't have cards with bonuses to speed up your progress.

This series has caught my interest. I am giving it a try now and watching the first episode. It is a bit strange but looks good so far.

Both. Most of these books came out around mid-way of Stars S1, so there wasn't much good books to get. Don't get me wrong, there were good amount of Stars books, but some of them were from newbie artists or artists who didn't put out previews (can't tell they're het or just poor art quality).

Things are going to change in Event 13 this July and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for high quality Stars books and more people chipping in because I'll be buying as many books as I can.

Let's be honest S3 made a stupid decision and Stars was directly affected, S1 did nothing to correct the error

AIkatsu's staff really deserves to suffer right now, but I hope S2 does things well and the franchise returns to its time of glory (At the same time Precure suck and Jewelpet was beginning to die)

I watch the episode until tonight and start complaining freely, as long as I'm not depressed

Came out two chapters and I really hate that, I do not have so much time to catch up with that

In general terms, Rola is a great character and his efforts feel genuine
The second season is a big improvement, but it seems that a bad first impression is permanent

I'm glad they gave Ako such a cute wife like Kirara and shoehorned Subaru out of her sights.
