I'm not entirely sure but Bandori Wikia says Chisato is friends with Kanon and Kaoru. I don't know how it happened though. There's rumours that Chisato met Kaoru on the drama/acting scene. My guess is that Chisato and Kanon are in the same class.

I think Chisato would be the ideal princess for Kaoru since I find these PrincexPrincess relationships work better when the Princess doesn't initially fawn over the Prince like every other fangirl

There's this little event when Chisato is looking at an accessory and thinking how that would look good on Kanon. At the same time, Hina is looking at the same accessory thinking how it would look good on her sister. That made it look how the two of them are really close.

A month of GBP in review

The game plays similarly enough to similar series like Derestage and SIF. The biggest stand out other than the map is the multiroom. The second stand out is the area items which you can buy from Arisa's house and other places. The Area Items give boosts to your team's live points and so far I've unlocked include the poster, individual instruments for the bands, pamphlets and a giant fixture you can buy from Arisa's grandma.

One major change in the past few weeks was fixing up a bug in multirooms that prevented them from working properly. The one major problem still plaguing these rooms are leeches who exploit an obvious flaw with the system in that you can get free points even if you don't play. That loophole will be closed sometime towards the end of the month.

So far, there's been two types of events- a mixed band event with girls from more than one band and a band event exclusively focused on one band.

Both of them used similar mechanics, you can get boosts to event points up to a maximum of 150% depending on your cards and attribute. So say if you have a Blue Arisa, that gives you a boost of 30%. Therein lies one of the bigger difference between Bandori and other games whereas other mobage give you boosts to score based if the attribute of your cards match, attribute only matters in events where Bandori gives you boosts to event points.

For the game itself, there is no limit to how much you can play as there's no stamina. However there are flames which boosts the amount of exp and rewards you get by 5. That can be recharged by buying it with the in game currency.

Multilives have a bar on what players can enter depending on your band score but I've found it very easy to reach this arbitrary restriction by getting a certain number of cards (say 3 fully powered 3 stars) or giving your team area item boosts.

On the attributes, there are 4- Powerful, Happy, Cool and Pure. The card rarity range from the lowest (1 star) to the highest (4 star).

Unlike SIF, you can only power up 3 and 4 stars. The power up/idolise system uses the same item system in Derestage.

In short, this game feels like a mix of both with it's own touches.

Yukina isn't that kind of character, and she's pretty dere towards Lisa.

Finishing all the game events I think it's pretty obvious what happened. When they're about to play to be selected to the World Fes, Lisa is worried because she's the only one without experience playing (she just started to play, because of Yukina), and she doesn't want to screw up and ruin Yukina's dream, since her objective is making Yukina smile. If she did mess up playing, it's obvious she would be the one blaming herself, what was probably what happened in the anime.

Did they hear about it from them? Did they ask Kasumi and friends about it the next day? How did they react?

The anime was terrible and I say this as someone who was looking forward to the anime. The anime was very slow in progression at some parts (about 8 Eps to actually get to the School Festival) and unlike shows such as LL or K-On there wasn't much to fill up the void in between be it humour or some kind of conflict. The highlight of the anime had to be Saaya's arc but as I've mention before it feels like a non-conclusion in some ways. Her mom is still sick and anemic and is still likely to collapse.

Why isn't there more AkoRin fanart?

So the 2nd side-story that each card has in GBP seems to be them talking to the player character. Is it more waifu-pandering crap or are they just saying stuff to you?

Mostly talking about the band and making comments about the event the card came from. Although there's some parts you can see as waifu-pandering, like Rinko blushing because you praised her outfits (although Rinko would blush for anyone that says that) and they thanking you for being such a big fan (I don't see a problem, but some people would).
But so far, all the stories I read avoided any explicit romantic implications. On the other side, I still haven't unlocked any "idolized" character's 2nd story because of the ridiculous amount of material you need. Maybe those are more waifu-pandering.

And after that I actually realized I could unlock one idoalized card. Tried it with my 3 star Arisa from the rabbit event.
It was more Arisa x Otae bait than anything, imo. The player character even asks her who is more fluff, Otae or a rabbit.

So yeah, haven't seen any strong waifu pandering yet, not that it's impossible that's out there somewhere.

The event was leaked a month back so they've been planning it for a while. Whatever point they started planning they would not have known what ships were popular other than KasuAri. Consequently, we ended up with crack. At least crack compared to Kaoru's Bass ships or KaoKano.

TomoSaya makes more sense. They seem to know each other since Tomoe plays the drums during some festival organised by the shopping district where Yamabuki bakery is located.

Speaking of the shopping district, Eve confirmed for literally working in a cafe. Meaning she doesn't even need AU for a coffee shop story. Still don't get why 'coffee shop AUs' are so popular in romantic fanfiction. I rarely see anyone say anything to the counter worker beyond asking for the price and asking for a cup.

Ako's feelings for her sister is clearly platonic and hard to see otherwise.
Hina, however, half of her character is how much she loves her sister. She obsess with her sister so much that keeps asking about her to her classmate. Ask her sister on dates and compare how the two meet on Tanabata with the story of two lovers.
Also, all the drama between Sayo and Hina just make the moments when Sayo is being dere more meaningful.
