Athena is introduced as an antagonistic Vault Hunter. Because she's promised Janey to stop being a Vault Hunter, Fiona can either mess with Athena or cover for her (provided Rhys does not go join Fiona in Episode 2, because if you do there is no scene where Fiona, Athena and Janey all interact - and also no kissing).

Turns out it was all a big ol' misunderstanding and Athena had actually been hired to help Fiona. Fiona and Athena hang out for a bit, during which time it becomes clear Athena's relationship with Janey isn't going very smoothly what with Athena constantly lying about what she's actually doing.

At some point, Athena gets defeated and hauled off to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. When Fiona is forced to 'fess up to Janey about what actually happened, it's advisable to tell her that Athena really does love her.

Also, you should launch Scooter's satellite.

Then you should take along Athena and Janey on your final mission to get some clarity on their happy ending.

I've got a question for /u/: in Arcanum, did anyone here managed to romance Raven with a female character?
I've read in several places that it was possible but never found an explanation as to how, other than a vague "you need very high beauty/charisma/persuasion and be nice with her". I've failed everytime I tried, and even taking a look at the game's dialog and script files didn't help. The only line I could find that would set the required flag was restricted to male characters (and only required higher than average beauty and playing a certain race).

If anyone has ever managed to do it, I'd be curious to know how.
