It's not a lemmasoft problem so much as an 'inexperienced indie' problem. /evn/ devs who never go near LSF are just as flakey. People who've never made a project tend to have no idea how much work they really are and how hard it is to keep motivation up and deal with everything going wrong (things always go wrong).
Never get too invested in random game ideas that might go into development, especially not based on nothing but some cute concept art. The chance of crash-and-burn is VERY high.

Yeah, that's my hope too. A lot of the games I have on PS4 are also available on last gen consoles, and it's obvious how the games were developed for those consoles and then up-ressed for the new ones.

Some stores might be stocking copies for a few weeks before the official release date. It's the same with books. Some stores will sell it as soon as it arrives, no matter what the release date says. This annoys the hell out of authors because their sales ranks are only determined after launch date, so sales before that aren't counted, which can mean not qualifying as a bestseller and getting promotions and so on.

I bought my PS4 mostly for Bloodborne and Koei Tecmo games (mainly the Warriors games, but after this I'll have to consider Gust's stuff too). I figure that if there aren't at least an amount of games you're interested in that are in total worth the cost of the console, it's not worth buying.
Does anyone know if Toukiden gets /u/? I played it when I had a Vita and did get some flirty dialogue from a couple of characters. Unfortunately I didn't play far enough into the game to see if the flirting ever amounts to anything.
>>1883485 Let's see.. Yoru No Nai Kuni does have a happy ending. It's the "True End" one. There are 5 endings in total. Likely, you'd need a Walkthrough to avoid the bad ones on the first try. All 5 are pretty yuri, but tragic (for the bad ends).

Except for Embryo, since he was a true friend, she didn't need to sleep with him and have a normal friendship. The Embryo CGs are the ones we get when we choose to betray Jill and go with Embryo. The world gets a reset and everyone lives happily ever after in the school world from the spin-off manga.

For Yorunonai kuni, outside of the endings already discussed above: They share a bed in a hotel and sleep together every night. Constant hand-holding and arm-linking. Daisuki confession during a star-gazing date. Give up their lives to protect one another. Gameplay actually fun unlike other Gust games.

The art in Menagerie looks quite nice and I like the monstergirls theme but is there any yuri in that game? The main character is futa so I was not expecting anything yuri whatsoever from it . Stuff that is just futa is fine for what it is and I enjoy it sometimes but here is usually not the appropriate place to discuss things that are only futa. That said we did have some nice discussions about Sengoku no Kuroyuri back in the day.

Hey /u/ I saw an artelier game for the ps4 in the shops and it was 'r' rated what the hell is in the games that make it need that, I thought it was just a bog standard jrpg with a little more stuff. Could just be Australia's terrible rating system but surprised me none the less
It's Australia. Some Ateliers have some scene where one girl/women gets drunk and starts to do a bit of molesting the other girls. It's mostly playful, with the other girl resisting and trying to get away being supposed to be funny and all. Or something like that at least. Australia REALLY doesn't like that. (they also don't like it when women aren't well endowed I think? Well, you see some of those in bikinis..)

Yoru no Nai Kuni sold almost 80,000 units combined (PS4, PS3, PSV) in the first week. To compare it with others gust games, Atelier Escha & Logy sold 57,550 the first week and Shallie 43,744. Atelier Meruru was the best sold Atelier (in the PS3 era) with 82,585 units sold.
Considering this was a totally new IP, I think it was a big success.

Yet even in this worst case scenario, YNNK would sell better than the latest Atelier game, bucking a trend started by Ayesha. The worst case scenario would still be good news for /u/s, particularly considering this is a brand new IP.
