So I finally got around to watching it and I must now hunt for all your fan art
This artist has some awesome elsanna
you should've known better, anon. anything we can do to make you unfeel it?
Nah anon I'm good. Thanks though.
The crazy sadistic side loves how close Elsa gets to the precipice of madness.
The more cuddly side of me loves how adorable Anna and Elsa are and how much of a fucking bro Kristof is.
This image makes more sense with its companion piece.
There's this idea called the hedgehog's dilemma which is used as an analogy for people being too afraid of becoming close and hurting each other in the process. I think it ressonates well with Elsa's story.
At least that's how I interpret it.
Seriously lacking in Elsanna fanfiction updates recently sigh. Also feels like the author of R9k has pretty much lost interest? If so, she should just hurry up and end it instead of dragging the last couple chapters out on an almost monthly basis.
ASPA, ACAP, and Tempest all updated fairly recently. Also frac is apparently "taking a break" from the Internet for a few days so even more delays until the next chapter of EiS, sigh...
Still, the updates slowed down because she stopped being a NEET and got a job and friends, so I can't really be sad about the whole situation.
/frz/ has no reason for existence besides Elsanna and hasn't for months.
im not saying the r9k shit finishing would save the /frz/, im saying it will help finally end it. Thankfully it has earned the /hsg/ title and the frags pushed everyone away so it won't grow anymore
They're saying how it's a shame the movie didn't take the relationship "further". And then someone mentioned Kristoff being a very nice and gentle "thing" (as opposed to person *shrug*), while another user was like "don't mention his dirty name". Haha.
They start talking about how it'll be difficult for Elsa to be intimate because she'll start freezing things up, and some criticism of the artwork/character designs/heavy eye shadow.
I don't see Anna&Elsa in the real work because they're sisters and behave like sisters. I don't see any signs of hidden yearnings in canon. But the art is adorable and the concept is kinky so the fanstuff is fun.
Well I mean, it's a DIsney movie, not a late night anime series. Of course the canon sisters aren't incestuous. But if it WERE a late night anime series.... the whole set up is just too easy for our imagination.
To your credit, Anna is the only person Elsa has shown any feelings (however platonic they may be) for, so I guess it's hard to picture her with anyone else.
Because gay people have never dated the opposite sex before.
Also the whole fact that Elsa thawed her sister in a role normally (read: absolutely every case before this movie) reserved for the romantic interest doesn't help in the slightest
I was reading Jodi Picoult's Sing You Home again and i started to treat it as a modern AU of Frozen.
Anna as Zoe.
Elsa as Vanessa.
Kristoff as Max.
Hans as the pastor/brother/lawyer.
I dunno why but the characters just fit so perfectly.
Or maybe I'm just obsessed with Frozen
New work by Savescreen.
Ethnewinter's 'Tales from the North' has been updated.
I love the art and, well, the quality it has but damn, it really feels like it's building up for a grade A angst ending...
Cute as the idea is that Elsa's tears thawed Anna, Anna clearly thawed herself. There was the entire set-up of true love meaning putting the needs of the one you love over your own. Olaf kind of flat-out says this. Of course, Elsa did this for Anna the whole movie anyways, so even if it wasn't Elsa's act of true love that thawed Anna, it's all still super gay.
I understood roughly 50% of this exchange, but this is a perfect example of why I tread lightly in fandom; often other people will spoil your love for it. I feel like there's something particularly treacherous about the Elsanna fandom. It's all fun and games til someone fucks up and then everyone's horrible. It's made me really reluctant to get more then superficially involved.
I just wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy. ;_;
Frac is (was) a major /frz/ pseudo-namefag. Obsession with her spiralled out of control like it always does with content creators on 4chan, to the point where lots of generals were basically circlejerks about her. Eventually she posted the infamous "beer-bottle pic" and /frz/ went crazy and tried to dox her. She ragequit /frz/ and retreated to tumblr, and there haven't been EiS updates since the beginning of March, although she has expressed some interest in continuing.
Yep. Anna's love for Elsa was what cured her frozen heart. In turn, it was Elsa's love for Anna that allowed her to stop the winter ("Love thaws.")
I'm still on the fence about resuming work on my Frozen fanfic. I got a few encouraging comments, but not a lot of interest overall compared to my other projects.
Most threads on /u/ have a claim to fame that Had ended long ago, but eventually due to popular fandom more content (official) eventually came out (ie: yuruyuri OVA, Madoka movie). I can see this movie getting a second film in a few years, maybe even pander more to the movie's subtext.
Cause Japan. Speaking of Japan, have some Elsacest that reminds me of Higurashi.
What's to understand? It's a popular movie with two female protagonists and revolves around their relationship. It doesn't matter that one of them finds a guy in the movie, shippers are going to think up alternate scenarios where the two female leads get together.
