It's cute animal-eared girls doing cute things but there is pretty major development between a tomboy and femme. It felt like it would go from strong subtext to text in latter volumes but I've never seen the raws so I don't know for sure.

Out of all of the oneshots I've read, I think this was one of the few that had the potential to be a really good series.
