How in the name of Neptune's dick did he even know who Jack Sparrow was? He only said he *looked* like a sparrow up in the crow's nest. Jack was a nobody, not even a captain, who seized the moment and pulled out a surprise win, trapping Salazar in the Devil's Triangle, but Salazar somehow not only "names" this nobody, but also knows that he, by sheer fucking coincidence, picks up the nickname and goes on to become a notorious pirate captain.

I don't get why Will was all barnacled up. The reason Davy jones' crew looked like that was because they did not do their jobs. Did Will not do it either?
Also, the Queen anne's revenge should have been able to repel Salazar and crew. Giant flamethrower, magical ropes and shit. Where were they? All in all, even though all the characters were there, this movie did not feel like a proper continuation of the previous ones.

Should have integrated the Triangle more into the established afterlife cosmology and avoided the bullshit retcons about the compass. Have Salazar actively seek an escape from his limbo state through figuring out how to use a Green Flash and interfering with Will's ability to do his job.
