Season 1 is perfect though. If they ended it on S1 it would still be a fantastic show. The whole premise of the series is to accept/acknowledge your flaws and that not everything is as it seems. The early episodes of Bojack thematically highlight this perfectly.

Yes. Season 4 finale was amazing. Getting to see Bea's backstory really helped understand her actions. As usual, extremely fucking depressing... But at least we got a happy ending for Bojack. Never felt so happy for a fictional character in my life.

I didn't think that. Diane's article about empowerment through weapon can be seen as showing the other side of the issue, especially since she's a feminist. Of course it was hyperbolised the whole shit with men considering that only the percent of the conservatives has a real problem with women having guns, (and liberals of course but they have problem with anyone having guns) but it was made for a joke's purpose and to somehow close the episode without turning guns and gun violence into recurring thing in the show.
