Californication is the more enjoyable watch and has more heart than Made Men. People may have watched it for the TnA, but there was something underneath it all.

They don't have anything in common. Having a "cool" protagonist doesn't make them the same.

Californication was god tier for first 2 seasons then it became worse and worse with each season

I agree with you, but in my opinion it should of ended season 6 with him knocking on the door. I really wish they ran with David Duchovny idea to kill hank in the end though. Would of been a real send off to the show and character.
