Ah the pinewood derby. I remember building my little car and painting it. I thought it looked awesome. Then me and my dad got there and obviously everybody had amazing cars that looked like they just bought them off a toy shelf. One of the counselors could tell I was bummed out. When he weighed my car he asked me if I wanted a little help. He added this weight to the bottom and trimmed up the edges a little. My car won first place too. Most importantly I had the most fun making it.
