Found this footage from another video and I've been searching for the original films that these belong to. I suspect they are from an old sci fi movie or possibly a documentary. Either way, I hope someone out there knows what these are originally from.

Saturn 3 (1980)
Look for the trailer on Youtube. They have those shots in it

I remember finding this movie because it's directed by the fucking guy who directed Singin' in the Rain, Charade, and Funny Face.
I was wondering why they reminded me of the Aliens franchise. They look like a typical scene out of an 80's sci-fi. thank you so much.

Wow, is it any good? I love that robot design and the cast looks watchable.

Her cat Mitsou. She had it when she was living in her first apartment in LA.

It's got a 100% pure b-movie premise but the set design and the overall aesthetics are very pleasing looking. The actors treat the material accordingly too. There's no overblown pretentiousness in it, except maybe from the part of the special effects people. There are a couple of effect shots that may give you the vibe that they are trying to rip off the Space Odyssey, albeit with less money and/or talent plus time.
Overall if you think "you've probably seen worse shit" then you have nothing to lose, just give it a shot. It's on Youtube for free I think.
But if you are one of those pretentious stack-up losers who treat themselves with nothing lesser than Tarkovsky then you're not going to enjoy it.

Also Farrah Fawcett appears topless briefly at one point.
Nothing you really haven't seen before but... always a treat, a bare attractive girl on the screen
It's a stretch that Farrah is attracted to wrinkly flabby Kirk Douglas but the robot was pretty cool and one scene freaked out young me pretty good.
It had a Logans Run aesthetic to me, which Farrah also had a part in.

If my recollections are correct she's supposed to have hardly ever seen many or rather any other men before

I grew up in the 80s attending Star Trek conventions with my parents and watching all kinds of geeky bad science fiction shit, and I never heard of this, ever. Looks godawful. Someone uploaded the whole thing here.
