Blade Runner.
Follow ups would be Terminator 2, Home Alone, Fletch, Airplane!, It Happened One Night, and some Hitchcock flick with a long shot but I forget the name.
Of course TDKR plane scene.
Once Upon a Time in the West

>Uh, Lynch sometimes plays certain sequences backwards so I'll do the same even though it doesn't really fit in.
Nolan is really the biggest of hacks.

Yeah, it's pretty good.

There are lots of really fantastic ones. My favourites are Drive and Once Upon A Time In The West.
Others that are really great are The Giant Waldo Pepper, Blade Runner, and if you want to stretch the definition of opening sequence - Inglorious Basterds.

High point of the movie 2bh
The Twilight Zone Movie
I shit you not, but that was clever
This was shit my fucking pants terrifying in a dark theater. Truly shocking when you dont see it coming, I figured they'd leave the possibility of a real witch ambiguous. The way her baby mashing contributed to the score. Made all of my hair stand up and really sets the mood for the rest of the film.

Is it? Lynch has been doing that shot of a rushing highway at night since at least Blue Velvet
>>87188199
That wasn't the opening scene, idiot.
>>87188199
I watched this about 6 months ago, cant be that shocking if I dont even remember this happening
>>87188378
you were probably looking at your fucking phone during the sequence. Or jerking off to the old witch body.
