Just marathoned this. What did I think of it?I'll tell you what I fucking thought. I thought every single shot was dark as fuck, I couldn't see a thing. Also it started out really fast, I don't think I would have understood any of it if I hadn't read the book first.

This version is infinitely better than the Swedish version.

correct.
>Also it started out really fast, I don't think I would have understood any of it if I hadn't read the book first.
You're joking right?
>DUDE sexism and misogyny, this chick has an open marriage and this other one is autistic, so progressive!

Loved the ending, Rooney was great in it, last act of movie felt a bit boring for some reason.
horrible movie, fincher's worst. a bunch of very talented people tried to polish the turd that is stieg larsson's paraliterate novel.

Nearly every shot in the film has CG in it.
>mfw rooneys ass on bed tied up

The book is from Sweden, so what did you expect?
Major props to Fincher for making a bearable adaptation of a shitty novel written by a snownigger cuck.

It isn't at all and I'm a big fan of Rooney Mara. There was no good reason to even remake it.
>>87182993
>no good reason to even remake it.
Yes there was. It's called the Swedish version. Just admit that it was a pile of shit with production values of a direct-to-video or made-for-TV film.

The original version was well better, why don't the fuckers at Hollywood just write some original content instead of remaking everything and converting retarded children's comics to the big screen?
The other actress was better as Lisbeth and overall it was a perfectly fine production.
If we can have a serious discussion here: As a finnish person, I found that the way they put the American actors in swedish places and used swedish names was weird at best and cringeworthy at worst. There was literally no reason for them to not make the setting USA/Canada in the first place, and it would have been better that way. (Unless there was something uncompatible elements in the sequels, haven't read/seen them)

It's fine if you don't like the movie, but I honestly have no idea how you couldn't see anything. I never had a problem with the lighting.

>It needed to take place in Sweden. It's wholly Swedish.
