What a ride. I loved the gritty, realistic depiction of desperation and crime from the lens of a lower-class perspective. The frenetic pace and acting was also outstanding. And the soundtrack and closeups made me feel super anxious. This movie also probably had one of my favorite tracking shots and one of my favorite opening shots (slowly closes in on a building in NYC in a way that gave everything a great sense of scale and gave the location character).
Anyone else see it? Thoughts? Some people may be surprised by this, but Bobby Pats is a hell of an actor.
