I think Diane can be described as being similar to a sleeper agent who Mr. C can motivate to certain ends/reveal certain threads of information to via key messages. Agreed. I've been walking around with a big fat grin on my face all day just because I'm so happy Coop still remembers all his Dougie exploits. Plus the catharsis of finally getting good old Coop back after 15 episodes (that's not to say that I didn't love Dougie too).
