I just saw the Dark Tower, and it wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. Just felt like one of those 80's/90's Steven King made for TV movies with a little more budget and a ridiculous amount of stuff cut. Still had a really low budget feel for the sets and things. It was a terrible Dark Tower movie, but with a few changes it could have been an amazing Neverending Story reboot. Matthew McConaughey played a great villain especially. You have to wonder why they did it the way they did. The production design was really good at least.
