Stay out from RCP most of their work is shitty.
First try John Williams, than go for Thomas Newmann, Morricone, Horner, old Elfmann(so generally the legends).
Next are younger composers like Brian Tyler Giachinno, but avoid Tom Holkenberg( aka Junkie XL).
If you want minimalistic music try Glass, if something with more climax Santaolalla.
I think this is enough for now.

Tron Legacy, the score is better than the movie by far.

Beltrami is still doing interesting stuff sometimes. One of his better scores recently believe it or not was for Gods of Egypt.

In recent years I've been a big fan of Alexandre Desplat's work, he's put out some great stuff. And I really like the weird stuff that Johnny Greenwood and Trent Reznor try, for something completely different. Especially Reznor's stuff on the Social Network of course, pure genius.
