I'm actually surprised that it got so bad reviews. Maybe it's just me, but I liked it very good.

Nolan on suicide watch
>>86705533
The casting for Lois Lane, Lex, and Wonder Woman were all fucked.
>>86705533
It was almost as bad as Suicide Squad.
>>86705830
I agree with the casting of Lex. Or at least their interpretation of Lex. I'm sure he could've played a good Lex if they had written Lex as he should be.
>>86705892
Haven't seen that.
>>86705533
I've seen it over 10 times, literally. Gets better every time.
>>86705533
It was honestly this movie that showed me how much hacks Rotten Tomato critics are. You may not like this film or capeshit in general, but to give it a 24% is fucking retarded
>>86705533
i really wanted to see superman fuck his little twink ass.
you had one job snyder ffs.
>>86705533
Lex luther was kino. The film, though, had many what the fuck moments.

Justice League is tainted by Joss Whedon.
This is the darkest timeline, where we came nine tenths of the way to the ultimate capekino trilogy, enough to see the promise, but not enough to be truly sated.
>>86708600
dubs confirm, few reconise lex was the best part of the film.
>>86705533
Was kino pic relate should have been nominated

I'm in this category, too.
I noticed the other day that what Alfred says to Bruce in their first scene together:
>"Everything's changed. Men fall from the sky, the gods hurl thunderbolts, innocents die. That's how it starts, sir. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men... cruel."
Applies to Bruce from one perspective, but to each of the principal characters individually as well. I saw that powerlessness and rage applied best to Lex and Bruce, respectively, but I couldn't see how "fever" applied to Clark. On a hunch, I searched for "guilt as fever" in literature and got references both to Lolita as well as pic related.
I'm betting that there are Faustian scenes with Lex. In particular, his scene on the ship with the AI reminds me of this quote:
>"I am resolved, Faustus shall not repent.
Come, Mephistopheles, let us dispute again
And reason of divine astrology.
Speak; are there many spheres above the moon?"
So basically, I'm betting Clark gets allusions to Macbeth(guilt obsession), Bruce gets allusions to Moby Dick(vengeance obsession), and Lex gets Faust(power obsession). Any fellow DCbros that want to chase that trail, please feel free.

Good one.
>kino
Legitimately one of the worst films I've had the displeasure of watching in theaters, which is a shame because I enjoyed the Batman segments which should have just been part of a Batman movie.

I hate seeing his fucking hairline.

MMM
BOYS!
>>86705533
The fights, soundtrack and visuals were fine.
The characters were botched.
Luthor doesn't even resemble Jesse and he feels so inappropriate for the role
Batman was too radical and couldn't show the intelligence and effective but not lethal fighting style he has
Superman was nerfed in the fight with Batman
Wonder Woman felt out of place.
Then the storyline feels cringeworthy and rushed in some parts and MARTHAAAA doesn't help at all.
Read the original The Dark Knight Returns and save your time.

Lol @ Affleck's shitty batman mouthbreathing like Bale's shitty Batman
