I kind of wish I understood why Spider-Man 2 is so great. I watched again recently and I was floored by it. There are these wonderful scenes where the characters just sit and talk to each other. Sometimes there's music. But not always. And there are some images from it that have had a lasting impression. How did raimi do it?

I think the Raimi Spider-Man movies are overrated as fuck, but Homecoming just didn't do it for me. Maybe it's because I am not used to Spider-Man being some other B-list hero's bitch for most of the movie.
