Can anyone help me figure out this old film?

Its about this woman who wakes up in a hospital bed only ushering the name of her unfrequented love, their are flashbacks to her life prior to falling to this condition showing the relationship she has with this man.

She was a nurse for the man's sick wife.

The movie is in black and white.

The man has a house on a lake

I've tried googling to no avail.
