Just saw Lost in Translation for the first time. Any more movies like this? By this, I mean preferably films which have great city cinematography - like Taxi Driver, or Blade Runner - where the city is a backdrop to what the character does; films which are ''comfy'', although this may in part be due to the city setting; and finally, although this bit is not essential, has a pretty female character who you can just stare at and appreciate her beauty forever and ever, like the young Scarlett.
I've already seen Her, by the way. Thanks in advance.

Days of Heaven and Badlands have nature as a main character as opposed to the city.
Nick and Noah's Infinite Playlist comes to mind.
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
I cringe while suggesting it, but it does have all of the elements you ask for.

Collateral
I felt like Chungking Express was similar in many ways
Also a great movie
Annie Hall is a great display of city backdrop.
Great city cinematography?
La Haine
Enter the Void
Black Swan
Chungking Express
Once Upon a Time in America
LiT HEAVILY borrows from Ozu and Kar-Wai. Both are masters with tons of great movies, so just watch whatever you can find from them.
The one most like LiT is probably Chungking Express or In the Mood for Love.
>Watch Lost In Translation for Bill Murray
besides the commercial bit, it was probably one of the most dull movies I've ever watched.
If you enjoy watching Scarlett being a moody little shit for an hour then this was a 10/10 for you.
