The US MSM was mostly on board with the Iraq conflict until the insurgency started to really kick in. Then it was nightly death counts, Cindy Sheehan 24-7 and the overwhelming majority of the coverage was negative to the administration and the US in general. MSM stories about the horrors going on were pretty much limited to alleged and actual atrocities committed by the coalition forces.

FOX news and a handful of local stations being the exception to that.

On a side note Cindy Sheehan has long since fell out of favor with the MSM since she began criticizing Obama and the nightly death counts went away when Obama took office.
