conservatives THINK that the U.S. has one singular culture, but in reality the U.S. has NO ONE culture. the U.S. simply has pop culture as a mask of all the different cultures that have immigrated here over the years.

Liberal and Conservatism are now used as synonyms for Neo-Liberalism and Neo-Conservatism respectively in the US.

The Democrats are far from Liberal in the original sense. Liberal meant that they would focus on liberty and equality. This meant that people would be treated fairly and equally by their government and that they would have the liberty to do what they wish as long as it didn't infringe on the liberty of others to do what they wish. Modern Democrats took that to mean that welfare should be handed out to buy votes and that people do not have the liberty of free association and more importantly free disassociation.

Modern Republicans are just Democrats 30 years ago.
Democrats are running the country into the ground and Republicans are chasing them, thinking it's a foot race they want to win.
