Luke did I ever tell you about atmosphere? An atmosphere is a collection of gases that surrounded a celestial body that possessed sufficient mass, and therefore sufficient gravity to hold it. Examples included many planets, moons, and large asteroids. Almost all species in the galaxy needed some form of atmosphere to breathe. During the height of the Galactic Empire's colonial period, a system of classification for atmospheres was established. This system, which was afterward adopted by nearly all subsequent governments in the galaxy, separates atmospheres into four distinct categories: type I atmospheres, type II atmospheres. type III atmospheres and type IV atmospheres.
It was a good air.

What cartoons had good character development?
>All those times Garfield did lose weight and they never mentioned it.
No wonder he was never enthusiastic about doing so.

What is your favourite film of 2016?
For me it's got to be either "Arrival" or "Hell or High Water".
I've been limited to downloadable films though.
>>79026105
Funny how a film that would have been considered really average in the 70's and typically looked down upon by the critics for being a small genre piece, is today considered best of the year potential and Oscars contender.
>>79026149
Makes you think.
>>79026149
Yeah, not a very strong year so far.
It's a solid 7/10 film though.

Only about Amy. She's my mommyfu.

I'd be angry if someone had abused my waifu Amy. I'm still mad at David O. Russell for making her cry.

Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn Reteam for Thriller 'Dragged Across Concrete' from 'Bone Tomahawk' filmmaker S. Craig Zahler
After first teaming up on the Oscar-nominated war movie Hacksaw Ridge, Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn are pairing up again for Dragged Across Concrete, a gritty crime thriller from Bone Tomahawk filmmaker S. Craig Zahler.
The script centers on two policemen, one an old-timer (Gibson), the other his volatile younger partner (Vaughn), who find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arm tactics become the media's cause du jour. Low on cash and with no other options, these two embittered soldiers descend into the criminal underworld to gain their just due, but instead find far more than they wanted awaiting them in the shadows.
Concrete will also mark a reteaming of Vaughn with Zahler. The actor last year wrapped production on Zahler’s Brawl in Cell Block 99

Why has no historical show even come close to Rome since it ended?
You can tell it was made by history nerds AND damn fine storytellers, it has real soul and raw grit to it. All these new shows about vikings and pirates, they're historically lazy, without any ideological perspective, and generic and tame in their storytelling, with so much forced modern revisionist PC shit injected in them.
Why does no show or movie come close to the friendship these two had?
>>79025783
How did they get buzzcuts in ancient Rome?

They didn't have flat tops in Ancient Rome!
Willhannibalcome back?
I'm not holding my breath, but they sure are teasing us about it a lot. Bryan Fuller and the cast, that is. Sounds like everyone is on board for more, except everyone is also busy...

From Chilton?
So learning the language makes you perceive time as nonlinear.
We see through the movie that the female starts to get these short flash forwards as she's starting to learn the language, but never see her getting much control over these flashes. So when you've fully learned the language, does that mean you can freely jump from any time in you life back and forward or do you just get those short le'i can see the future psychic flashes?
The movie heavly implies that (at least for a human) that although you've learne to perceive time like the aliens your consciousness can only be at one place in time at once. Seems like a hellish existance either way, never knowing when's "now" your whole life just being a muttered mess of memories in random order. It also raises the question if you can be immortal (by constantly going back), or even die by accidentally skipping ahead to the time you die? If you argue that you can fully see your whole life from start to end like one long line "start------end" then you should be able to live forever "in your mind", no?
a final problem is that "time" isn't some shit we humans just made up, "Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future.". So even though your're "timejumping" around your head, you're still getting older on the outside in the present..
whole thing is just mind boggling is all and not in a very positive way
