he probably raped her a bunch
>>79051922
Considering he spent what? At least 100 years stuck in the loop? he probably raped everybody in the town.
>>79051997
>At least 100 years
I doubt he'd still be getting up in the morning if that were the case.
>>79051922
>He rapes her
>To his surprise, the loop ends
>Promptly arrested and has to tell his neighbors when he just moved into town
>Curb your enthusiasm music plays
why's a 7/10 movie getting so much praise?
It was 5/10 at best.
>>79051906
plebs are so starved for a good musical movie that they'll take the first mediocre one in a long while and hype it up until there's no way it can sustain itself. public opinion on this turd will turn in a year, just like what happened with fargo, tree of life, etc.
Because Hollywood likes movies that jerk it off above anything else.
The church literally has a history of covering up rapists, and the last pope was involved in the coverup.
But apparently this fictional pope has gone too far because he smokes and is rude to people
>>79051734
literally a comparison with trump. made me think.
>>79051734
Covering up rape, "helps" or protects the church though. I really don't see what you're getting at.
>>79051734
I just watched the pilot and truthfully, I'm not wild about it. A character acting like a complete dick head is only enjoyable when you feel he's earned the right. Take 'Breaking Bad' for example. Walter was shit on most of his adult life so it was cathartic to see him shit on people. Also, the drawn out scenes in Italian without subtitles are tedious. I understand they want to be authentic, but what does that matter if a quarter of the scenes are incomprehensible to most of the viewers?
ITT: Shows that were saved by a single character
I love how Negan triggers all the SJWs and numale critics. Can't wait for the butthurt when Rick spares him at the end of season 8.
>>79051912
Not gonna happen, the normie would cause too much uproar
>>79051663
I've always found TWD enjoyable, but Neegen really took it to the next level as far entertainment goes for the show. I haven't felt genuine thrill since the early seaons.
Just finished Bojack Horseman, thought it was pretty good.
Did you like it? Does it deserve 100% on RT?
I'm almost finished. Bojack does recurring jokes/character arcs really good. Many other series should take note. Also, it doesn't go back to status quo after each episode. I really liked the use of animal powers as side jokes and never main plotlines.
100% on Reddit Today is more like it
>>79051515
It's pretty entertaining. Diane is supposed to be the moral center of the show, but her inability to stick to her own ideals makes it hard to appreciate the character. Maybe it adds character depth, but it feels like she's just slowing the advancement of the plot of each episode..
Dear lord... who else was lift a sniveling mess by the end of this?
>>79051494
It's devastating. One of the finest films ever made.
I love the final shot, where the camera pans away from the reunion almost as if it's too much for even the objective point of view to bear.
Scorcese used the same technique for the scene in Taxi Driver where Travis tries to call Betsy back after that disastrous date. It's just so awkward and pitiful that the camera just pans away.
>>79051534
It's rare for me to cry at films these days and consider myself desensitized to most things, but I was a leaking faucet throughout this movie.
Would you?
Only if she was my mom
>>79051485
honestly if my mom was that hot, totally.
i'd hit it raw, cum inside and father my own brother-son.
What's your favorite movie of the last year?
I really liked Elle and I put it on my top 5 of the year, maybe even favorite movie but I'd have to think really hard about it, but I think /tv/ likes it for the wrong reason. You know, pissing off the feminists and cuck memes
>>79051574
I just thought it was a painfully funny movie about an interesting female character. One of the biggest laughs I had wasthe black baby reveal
>>79051457
the lobster
>Obi-Wan was here, wasn't he?
what was the implication of this line?
He suspects padme of cheating on him
the faint scent of a lingering BRAAPPP

lel this video was literally in the suggestions
>like Mega64
>been subbed to them for years now
>kinda sad for them that they never really blew up past initial Youtube fame
>see them make videos trying to get views to their channel but can't seem to get their foot out
>honestly wonder again how they're still afloat with three full time members and three other crew members
>8k a month on Patreon
>tons of merchandise
Well that'll do it.
Why does this shit still exist?
because it still annoys you
They're still relevant?
>It's a /pol/ gets triggered by a dead pseudo-meme thread
>best character in the entire prequel trilogy
>only two lines of dialogue
>>79051360
what character?
>>79051360
shows how good that movie was directed. can have such passion for a silent character
>>79051360
He wasnt a good character he was just cool
There is no 'character' there to be good. He doesnt develop or show any emotion. He just looks cool
Haven't been on this board in a few years but I just broke up with my gf and quit my job so here I am again. When exactly did /tv/ stop enjoying things? It seems like this entire board is now just about shitting on things that people (not even necessarily the majority of people) like. The other hobby/interest boards can be a bit contrarian but it's especially bad here.
>>79051177
The board got redpilled hard.
>>79051177
Nice repeating digits.
Your girl was probably a whore anyway.
I watched the first two episodes of The Young Pope. The main character was a complete piece of shit with no redeeming qualities. Why should I even think about finishing it? The show just made me feel bad.
Typical pleb reaction, to hate when they do not understand.
>>79050929
stick to marvel all their characters and likable and quirky.
>>79052281
Was just saying the same thing in another thread, man. The only thing interesting thus far is the head of the church not believing in God.
What's some date night kino to watch with a qt3.14?
Don't post here if you're a virgin though, I don't want your recommendation.
I'm a virgin.
Anything. She gives no shits what you put on.
