The ending of Affleck's The Accountant was perfect. It has sequel potential.
>>79307500
of course it does but it shouldnt. it was perfect as a one-off movie.
Only edgy faggots dislike happy endings when they're not legitimately inappropriate.

Just marathoned an episode of the Sopranos and look what classic actor I stumbled upon.
This show had so many background actors that are now famous.
What shows are like this today?
>What shows are like this today?
How to fuck could we possibly know this without a time machine?
PS: here's Lin-Manuel in the Sopranos
Lady Gaga is in an early episode as one of AJ's friends when they trash the school pool

Are there even any quality long running dramas currently?
What exactly is stopping Hollywood from making a Marlon Brando biopic?

So I honestly don't find these films that terrible. They are by no means as fucking horribly made as the Star Wars prequels but those are defended to no end on here. So here is just a quick list of reasons why I don't think these films are as bad as some of you think:
>same crew behind LOTR who love and respect the source material and who are all close friends with Peter Jackson (basically gave all of these people work for another 3 years)
>production still is made up of local area talent and immensely respectful of New Zealanders and historical locations
>films bring in a shit ton of money for New Zealand, create jobs, increase tourism.
>majority of the film is still filmed on location despite heavier CGI usage
>cinematography is not horrible
>most CGI is good, Gollum is a technical highlight
>besides some wonky dialogue, writing isn't that bad
>cast is strong
So some pacing and editing issues and maybe a total runtime that is too long...I can't realistically see what else is wrong besides that. Did it need to be 3 parts? No. Is it faithful to the book for the most part though? Yes.
Unlike with the SW prequels, the hate for these isn't warranted.

I liked it. Nothing glaringly bad in it and even though it was stretched out it honestly didn't feel like it.
Also, Martin Freeman Bilbo is way better than Frodo. Watching Frodo made me uncomfortable (not because I want to fuck his boipucci)
Would a Paterson style biopic about his time as a garbage man and park supervisor (which he considered to be the happiest time of his life) work?

I'm kinda late to the party, but I just saw it. What was /tv/'s verdict? I enjoyed it and thought it was breddy gud.

it's dishonest filming in a very dishonest time. What more is there to say really?

this comment is honestly retarded.
CAN TV GIVE AN EDUCATED, WELL THOUGHT OUT RESPONSE AS TO WHO STARTED IT AND WHO FINISHED IT? LET'S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL WINTERFAGS
Bully started it by busting Tommy's balls. Tommy took it too far. End of story
tommy was all dressed up and doing the town and billy got a little out of order
Half the fun is in not coming to a conclusion.
