Is it possible The Simpsons could go on for so long it becomes good again?

Kind of like SNL.
one of these days somebody's gonna kill al jean
The hands have been blacked.
How about a /tv/ related technology nostalgia thread?
B&O had the most pleasing aesthetic when it came to TV sets.

I always wanted one of those, but I could never afford one.
Thoughts?

>Part of the character's look came in the form, how can one put this, her breasts, which have been commented on a lot, but which are a dominant component of the character. "Personally, I wouldn't want those breasts," she admits smilingly. She's one cup size bigger than me. I'm a 36 C, she's a 36D. In the game, she's a DD, so we took it down, but still just gave her some proper padding, but it's one cup size up from me."
She was wearing pads to make her boobs look so big.
First part was okay, sequel was unbearable.
I like those pads so yeah.
Nice movies.
Find a flaw
I submit that you can not
Allison, who is best girl btw, was prettier pre-makeover.
Other than that, it's flawless and top-tier in terms of /comfy/, though it would have been nice if Brian had gotten some pussy too at the end too.

Came here to post this.
>>79363031
It delivers a message that looking like a porcelain doll is preferable to having an individual look, that sexual harassment and bullying is the way to win a girl's heart, and that being a "good guy" nerd will not reward you.
Admittedly, those are all terribly true, but that doesn't mean you should encourage those messages.
All black cast , black super hero ? really .
i dont think this movie is gonna make any bucks. It will be Hulk territory
It's not all black, Martin Freeman and Andy Serkis are in it.
And who cares about box office right it's about making a good movHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
He was a pretty good character in Civil War and was a popular character among the audience. Marvel at this point has to really really fuck up to turn up a bomb.

If memory serves me right, Force Awakens didn't hit it big in China, and that was after downplaying Finn in promotional material over there. You can't downplay the blacks in this film.
However, Force Awakens still did incredibly well without China, but this isn't Star Wars.
I work at a very private medical. Marky mark is a patient. He is taking chemo. I dont know exactly which form of cancer he has, though. You heard it here first. Ill post more as I learn more though I suspect his PR may announce it sometime in the next month or two.

That's pretty much what I expected.
Considering the massive popularity of capeshit these days, how come the greatest superhero of all, pic related, hasn't gotten a reboot yet?
>>79362690
cos the movie adaptation flopped.
although i liked it well enough, the cartoon is better.
reboot the cartoon or a movie, op?
>>79363961
Well, the show already had a reboot that was great, pic related.
I was talking about a live-action adaptation in the style of contemporary capeshit, except not shit.
>>79364041
good idea, im behind this!
Can't wait for it to be super grim dark, gritty, and people dying everywhere. OMG its gonna be so cool.
>muh normie sentai
>>79362666
The trailer I saw before John Wick didn't make it look too edgy.
>>79362666
>100% CGI suits and monsters
Was it autism?

>you've got a serious case of oscarbaititis, we recommend opting in foreuthanasia

his cameo was pretty sweet though
>>79362617
Nah, this is what it looks like when you really don't want to be alive anymore, but you don't want to put your family through another loss, so every day is just passing time
>tfw two weeks until regular jeopardy returns
>>79362577
>tfw you realise that everything about her appearance, from unfashionable glasses to "unkempt" hair is the product of hard and meticulous work done by stylists, producers, marketers, etc.
>>79362727
Because it's insane to think somebody would wear glasses to see better.
>>79362727
>implying Jeopardy has that much of a budget
Me
>yeah, it was kind of okay
The world
>IT TOOK 12 YEARS TO MAKE! TWELVE YEARS!
>>79362526
Whatever. It's not even that great of a movie, but I think it's really obnoxious that everyone just memes the "12 YEARS" thing and tries to pass that off as criticism. It's a fucking pull-quote on the movie poster, they're always hyperbole. RLM is shit and "overrated" is the lowest form of criticism.
>>79362658
>pass that off as criticism.
It's ridicule, not criticism.
This is why autists shouldn't be allowed to communicate with normal humans.
>>79362658
12 YEARS is just an abbreviated summation of various criticisms of the movie, namely - zero story, no character development, flat writing, lack of a message, no risks taken, annoying main character, wooden acting, inconsequential plot and overly stretched narrative
but it took 12 years to make hence - 12 YEARS

have we entered the age of animatedcomickino?
>>79362510
Its apparent now that 50 Shades became a event genrefilm of its own and with that competition pulled some strong numbers. I guess it doesn't matter how bad of a flick it is people are going to watch it because its the only thing pretty much like it out there.
>>79362510
Lego is unironically the best "Cinematic universe".
>>79363670
Since this is kind of de facto Box Office thread holy mother of shit
Xander Cage got 62 million in China this weekend: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/china-box-office-xxx-return-xander-cage-opens-massive-61m-974887
>>79363717
I hope they keep quality up and realize its not the legos that make it good but the funny scripts. Its better than most comedies.
What's the best Sunny episode?
I nominate The Gang Hits the Road.
franks pretty woman
The Gang Dines Out
>>79362408
The Gang Dines Out is my absolute favorite.
Is Christopher Nolan, dare I say, the next Stanley Kubrick?
>>79362378
I unironically like Nolan but the Kubrick comparisons have always been retarded. Kubrick is his biggest influence but he has his own style. Plus Kubrick was a notorious perfectionist whereas Nolan is a "bigger picture" kinda filmmaker who doesn't sweat small mistakes.
Eyes wide shut => Inception
Full Metal Jacket => Dunkirk
2001 => Interstellar
All there's left for Nolan to copy is Barry Lyndon, a Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Lolita, and Dr. Strangelove
No, he's Terrence Malick with the imagination of Kubrick and Cameron
