>On the latest episode of Collider Movie Talk, host John Campea stated he has heard from three separate sources involved with Warner Bros. over the last four days that Affleck is looking to leave the role of Batman. Along with a warning to take what he’s heard with a grain of salt, Campea said: “Ben Affleck, make no mistake, he wants out. He doesn’t want to be Batman anymore.”
>Campea went on to say his sources tell him Affleck is in discussions with Warner Bros. to get out of his deal to continue playing the character, which includes THE BATMAN, but if a deal cannot be reached in time, the solo film will be the last appearance he makes as the character.

He never should have had it in the first place. Awful choice
Lol what with the shit that was BvS and SS DC is just handing it to Marvel.

What a faggot
It's just.... good business
cringe line
One of my favourite scenes, the music is great too.
LET NO JOYFUL VOICE BE HEARD-AH
>30 years after the events of THE PREDATOR and PREDATOR 2, Lieutenant Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook) is the leader of an elite team of Special Forces operatives. During a covert misson in Cuba to assassinate a drug lord, Quinn and his team happen upon a seemingly dead Predator in the wreckage of a crashed spaceship, and Quinn retrieves a piece of the alien's technology, which he sends to his estranged son Rory McKenna (Jacob Tremblay), an autistic savant who lives with Quinn's ex-wife in the suburbs, unaware of what it truly is.
>Quinn and his unit are later captured by CIA agent John Traeger (Sterling K. Brown), the leader of a secret department investigating alien activity on Earth and particularly the Predator's previous appearances in South America and Los Angeles. While they are being interrogated by Traeger, the Predator awakens and escapes to retrieve the stolen technology, and Quinn and Traeger begrudgingly join forces to reach the Rory and the piece first.
>Quinn and Traeger are aided by Quinn's team and Casey Beckett (Olivia Munn), a Berkeley University professor affiliated with Traeger's organization and specialized in Evolutionary Biology. Against them are not only the fugitive Predator, but also a ragtag team of Army lunatics, monstrous hybrids, alien hounds and a ten feet tall genetically enhanced monster known as "Predator 2.0".

That sounds like shit, wtf Shane
Also was Predator 2 not set in the future?
>Holbrook, Tremblay, Munn
wtf
>SK Brown
actual talent
> Olivia Munn), a Berkeley University professor affiliated with Traeger's organization and specialized in Evolutionary Biology.
Do people still really think this show is the greatest ever? Maybe it was "groundbreaking" in the late 90s when it's only competition in the TV drama stakes was shit like Law and Order and The X Files, but TV has evolved so much since then.
Compare an episode of this to an episode of something like Breaking Bad and you'll realise how dated this show is.

>Compare an episode of this to an episode of something like Breaking Bad and you'll realise how dated this show is.
This is when the bait becomes too obvious. It was good up til them though.
>>79434861
low quality bait
You don't have to bait, you could start an unironic Sopranos thread, it's fine
What happened to this show? The first season feels so tightly plotted and well written. The latest feels like the writing has dropped off a cliff. I've been given answers both that the later seasons drift away from the books so they're bad, but also that the later books are bad too so I'm not sure.
i just finished rewatching it. the first 4 seasons had some problems here and there but i forgot how much i enjoyed it. then season 5 comes along and ruins everything and it just gets worse and worse with some good stuff like hardhome scattered here and there
>>79434670
i believe the production was severely hampered by the loss oftax credits
>>79434670
The later books go hardcore into the lore and has twice as many characters. Some don't like it as much because the story moves slower.
The problem with the show is that GRRM is an autistic genius and once the show started to outpace the books it revealed that the writers are shit without GRRM's books
who would you like to see in true detective season 3 ?
Thomas Hayden Church, William H. Macy, and Michael B. Jordan
Willem Defoe and John Goodman
Kelsey Grammer, Oliver Reed, Orsen Welles, and Dick Turpin
Never in my life have I ever been so disappointed with people's ignorance.
This film isn't "good", good is a fucking disservice to this film. This film evokes so many fucking things and is so well thoughtout I can't imagine why so many people hate it. Everything from the fucking opening being as long as MoS climax to the exact words Batman and Superman used during the fight reminded me of Greek tragedies.
What too complex for you normies?
Fuck you! Snyder took the ridiculous concept of costumed heroes and turned it into art. Make no fucking mistake, this film will be the opposite of the Star Wars prequels. Where those films had tons of defenders in the beginning that eventually admitted to themselves they hated them this will have tons of detractors that will inevitably come around. This might very well be the best superhero film ever made.
>>79434516
This
/tv/ is a pro-Snyder board and Marvelquipfags need not apply
Nah
>>79434516
MoS and BvS are 10x better than marvels quirky shitshows.
Just finished picture related.
I actually was enjoying it until the last couple of episodes What a mess. WTF happened there /tv/?cool mirror episodes, but they killed the baby and Trip like nothing and even spoiling it mid episode that was actually a next generation episode.
>>79408563
>until the last couple of episodes
What the fuck are you talking about, the finale is absolutely dogshit, but before that is the mirror universe, and before that is based Terra Prime, with one of the best trek villains over.
Season 4 is legitimately great.
>>79408845
>DUDE Make Terra Great Again LMAO
Why are Earth-Firsters always so dumb across every media?
>>79408563
Berman and Braga had laid off control of Enterprise for the last 2 seasons, until the last episode, which they wrote, hence why it was a disaster.
So i'm currently rewatching this movie so i can watch the RLM re:view episode about it later
Is it kino? is Paul Verhoeven based?
>>79434194
absolute bug-kino
WHats RLMs tax policy?
shifty Jack gets his rlm threads deleted but still has to reach a quota
you bald piece of shit
;_;
>>79433605
This is an actual spoiler, don't open if you haven't seen it
>>79433757
too late. Should I still watch the film?
>tfw The Shire gains its independence and you don't have to pay Aragorn's taxes
What was Sharkey's income tax rate?
>>79432588
He charged in old toby.
The shire was already independent. Humans don't even live their you fucking retard
I was sure Marion Ravenwood was Indian. I thought Nightcrawler from X2 was Indian too.
>>79431910
I thought movies were real. When someone died in Gladiator, then I saw them talking about the movie on Access Hollywood or something and thought, "What? I thought he was dead?"
>>79431952
That's completely autistic, how old were you?
Just marathoned the Captain America trlogy. You first avenger really is the best of the three.
>>79431614
>first avenger really is the best of the three.
Reminded me of Brisco County Jr. with the sci-fi weapons meets WW2, though Wolfenstein makes more sense.
Also I like Winter soldier better, but FA has the GOAT Cap suit
idk man, Winter Soldier feels like a universally solid movie that most people would enjoy whereas First Avenger just feels like a really solid but standard-fare comic book movie.
>>79431614
D R O P P E D
Why didn't they just pay the eagle tax?
>>79431364
its 1000 miles to Mordor from the Shire, have you got any idea how much that costs in Eagle Taxi fare?
>>79431364
flying ain't free, you have to pay toll
>>79431364
Why didn't frodo just wear the ring and become the main pimp of the shire?

Visuals look good, Im ok with Scarjo. Not sure about some of the dialogue and story direction.
Thoughts?
>>79406746
scarjo was miscast
>>79406785
She is the only reason this movie even exists so you just have to deal with that
>>79406785
I always liked the casting because ScarJo can be authoritative
