Wondering if it's possible to just skip season 1 and get right in to season 2. It mostly just seems like filler.
It's possible, but everyone in /b5/ will laugh at you if you do.

Seems like a waste of time. A lot of development when the main character ends up leaving at the end anyway.
Haven't watched the show in years, but looking at an episode list, could you skip everything but Midnight on the Firing Line, Signs and Portents, Voice in the Wilderness, Babylon Squared, and Chrysalis?
All women cast remake.
Good idea y/n?
Black guy with dreads going on a rampage, murdering and raping women? It's been done.

Ah it's this meme again.
Leah: Yo Yo Yiggady Yo.
Juno MacGuff: I'm at suicide risk.
Leah: Juno?
Juno MacGuff: No, it's Morgan Freeman. Do you have any bones that need collecting?
Leah: Only the one in my pants...
Juno MacGuff: I'm pregnant.
Leah: What? Honest to blog?
Juno MacGuff: Yeah. Yeah, it's Bleekers.
Leah: It's probably just a food baby. Did you have a big lunch?
Juno MacGuff: No, this is not a food baby all right? I've taken like three pregnancy tests, and I'm forshizz up the spout.
Leah: How did you even generate enough pee for three pregnancy tests? That's amazing...
Juno MacGuff: I don't know, I drank like, ten tons of Sunny D... Anyway dude, I'm telling you I'm pregnant and you're acting shockingly cavalier.
Leah: Is this for real? Like, for real for real?
Juno MacGuff: Unfortunately, yes.
Leah: Oh my GOD. Oh shit! Phuket, Thailand!
Juno MacGuff: There we go. That was kind of the emotion that I was searching for on the first take.
>this won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay over Michael Clayton, Lars and the Real Girl, and The Savages

Is this real dialogue? I've never seen and never will see this movie. But this seems exaggerated.

Don't get rused. Cinematographically-wise it's mostly unimaginative, and the story feels like a Mary Sue Catholic Church fanfic by some edgy 14 y.o. boy who is salty at his Sunday school teacher for being a less tro0 Catholic than himself. Couldn't stand two episodes of this cringeworthy shit, and no one who knows more than a couple memes about religion, philosophy and theology would. Feel bad for my nigga Jude that he has to stoop to this tripe but hey, aging with dignity is hard.

So is this guy right on all counts or is he missing something else about the shaky cam.

making a scene less coherent is not "grounded and visceral", it's just bad.

It sure as shit is cheaper and time constraining,
Be honest, ya gonna go see it?
The city its self looks gorgeous.
hell no
>>79450754
Yes. btw I am mainly seeing the movie for Batou. May sound strange but I think he looks really cool in the trailer. Too bad the action scenes look kinda louzy with the slow mo and Scarlett hasn't impressed me but who knows.
>"Your whole life has been a lie"
Call me a sucker but I like these stories even though I've seen them so many times throughout films and tv
Scarlett is impossible not to like but why do most adaptations fuck over the source material?
Thoughts? Just finished the second season on Netflix.
>tfw no new izombie until april
it is actually the best

trash show. i bet u like bones or stupid shit like that.
Anybody watched this? I kinda like it, so lets talk about it
its real creepy and fun

Exorcism shenanigans
what was his fucking problem?
low self-esteem
GET HIM A BODYBAG
But in all seriousness he has textbook behavior of someone who was molested
He was a closet neet
In this scene he points the wand at him momentarily, and then turns away. He seems completely disgusted by Lucius yet he doesn't kill him.
>>79449601
Why didn't he use his fairy magic to get himself out of one of the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises. Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
