Is this the best comic book movie in terms of staying loyal to the source?
Nah, Road to Perdition
I guess. After they get through the first book though it kinda falls apart. A series made by the jews at netflix would be alright though

fun is inherently misognystic, racist, and transphobic

I did a brief standup routine in an elementary school talent show. I wore a really long baseball shirt and a tie thrown over my shoulder. I had a few silly knock knock jokes, and then my ringer.
Understand this was in like 2004 and I got a huge laugh and applause for the following joke:
>Once, a man was reading the newspaper when his three daughters walked up to him.
>"Daddy" the first said "Why did you name me Rose?"
>"Because a rose fell on your head when you were born."
>"Daddy" the second said "Why did you name me tulip?"
>"why, because a tulip fell on your head when you were born :) "
>the third daughter said
>"AHUUUURHJAHDUR"
>and the father said "Shut up, Fridge."
I literally searched everywhere I could
>take shit
>rub it in circle on wall
>call it a sentence

The creators of the heptapod language & the director said the might/were suppose to release the alphabet to the public around the bluray release but I doubt will ever see a public release of the heptapod language unless a fan does/figure it out
So anon, are you food or sex?
Knowing the plot on the film I obviously would say sex, but as a character with no context I would have said food.

Daily reminder that Negan is an Alexandrian Rickonist puppet.
Damn, Ep2 was tame and normal as heck.

difference between a pilot and a regular season episode
Literally a gimmick show. It pulls you in because it's something new, it's a little confusing, flashy colors, funky editing/cinematography, but that wears off after the first episode.
And you're left with a standard superhero show. I bet there will be some "mindfuck" twist that's supposed to wow us like nothing is real or half the characters are not real or something or the good guys are the bad guys, but unless the storytelling get better quickly, this show is going downhill.

Comfy as fuck desu. A sequel would've been nice - it was pretty obvious they were angling for one judging by the ending.
