Why does nobody talk about this show? It's one of the best on tv right now imo.
Just marathoned 14 episodes this week and it's absolutely brilliant. That first season was just remarkable. The Parisian scenes are gorgeous, the pathos is resonant, Anderson is somehow perfectas his mom. Had no idea Zach was pulling double duty, but his Dale, despite being the same effete southern dandy he does all the time, totally works. Marsha's line delivery is hilarious.
Enjoying the second season so far as well, but hoping to see some more Chip. The first worked so well because he continued to pursue his dreams of clowning I think, despite all odds. He's a bit down and out now, obviously, and so his character is receding into just depression but hoping w/ his and Dale's sort of bonding and his being back home he could see some forward momentum.
>Mischief? Mischief!? What were you chasing a mouse??
10/10 performance from louie anderson. wish the red head clown didn't disappear so quick because she had big fat tits

Besides simply liking something, is there any movie or actor or director or whatever you're a real "fan" of? Like you camp outside somewhere to get an actress' autograph, or you collect things from a specific movie.
Who are your favorite bizarre fans? People like Ricardo Lopez the Bjork stalker, Robert John Bardo (a teenager who killed his favorite actress because she did a sex scene), or this guy:

I had a lot of Star Wars stuff as a kid but I haven't bought anything Star Wars related besides movie tickets since the age of 11.
I have an extensive collection of cringe pictures related to Doug Walker
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
No, it's not something the Jedi would tell me
>>79565160
I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.

The Seventh Seal
Black Death (2010)
Could /tv/ give me some examples of how CGI represented anxieties within the 90s. Jurassic Park and genetic engineering is the only thing I can think of.
Terminator 2

Why was the last joker nominated for an Oscar but this one didn't even get a buzz?
What did the Jews see in him?
They saw him in The Dark Knight, it's a good movie, check it out.
>I find the Joker a cross between a snake, a hyena, and maybe a little bit of gorilla
What did he mean by that?
>>79563326
Because the only thing the new Joker comes off as is a tryhard edgelord and looks to have been designed by an agsty 15 year old
