why didnt that eighties' JC actor never get a role ever again
The scars in T2 look incredibly natural. The ones in Geneshit look like made of play doh. Just way over the top.
Will justice league be the end of DC's cinematic universe or will it do well ?
I really think aquaman hype might save it

Its launching at a time when it literally can't fail. Think it will bottom out around 900m and the home release will be wildly profitable like every DCEU film so far.
More concerned about the actual quality of it, given Snyder has washed his hands of it. Shame really. He should have been allowed to close out his trilogy

Marcus Aurelius was a tough act to follow
I'll start with an easy one: Rick and Morty
Xavier
Pic related is easily the most intelligent show out there. I have an IQ of 132 and I still struggle to keep up at times. Can't even imagine how a pleb would manage desu
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

Am I a pleb for not liking sci-fi themes such as if robots, allucinations, sentient androids, clones and stuff like that as cheap entertainment? I don't like those themes because most of the times it is pretty obvious that they are not real and shouldn't be treated as human beings.
I was watching Solaris yesterday. I liked the film, but I had a really hard time believing that Kris couldn't distinguish what was real from what wasn't, when it was obvious that it was the planet messing with him. It is making a smart character looking like a retard.
I also dom't like these themes in shows like Westworld, because, by every measure of ethics, the robots should have never had that kind of sentiency and Arnold was a criminal. Implying a scenario like Westworld would ever truly happen is insulting to the viewer, and so is expecting to feel pity of the machines.
Am I in the wrong, /tv/?

It's fine if you don't like something, it's called "having a taste"
>>87617674
Yes, you're a pleb because you don't like something on this list.

Let's pretend I'm trying to write a perfect horror script. What are the things that I shouldn't do? What are the things that are I should?

And one very important thing to note is that characters do NOT have to be stupid or make stupid decisions, look at the characters in Carpenter's Thing for example, very few if any of the deaths in that movie are caused by the character doing something stupid and more that they are completely out of their depth and the monster/force is beyond what they thought it was capable of.
>>87617657
ask /tv/ for advice
>>87617902
>characters do NOT have to be stupid or make stupid decisions
This should apply to pretty much every single script. Resorting to stupidity to make the thing move is lazy as hell.
