Why was he such a little bitch?
His charmed upbringing and entitled social status. But after season 1 he worked to shed that stuff and became a real human bean and a real hero.

This. By the end he became one of the most relatable and morally upright characters. While Kinsey was a good guy too, Pete became one through hard work which is more admirable imho.
And even in his bitchy phase he opposed racism far more than the rest of the main characters, so it's a plus too.

>Fassbinder did it FOR FREE
more like parkour creed right?
>>79713050
And as with all video game movies it was shit because nobody cared about the script (written by the guy who wrote the Divergent Series and Tower Heist)
you can have a competent director and a competent cast but that won't help you when the story is utter shit
You've been tasked with remaking Akira for Western audiences - how do you do it?How do you dodge whitewashing accusations?
Tetsuro is played by Jaden Smith.
>>79713030
>Tetsuo
You mean Tetsuo's girlfriend?
>>79712904
There was a rumor going around of Nolan wanting to remake Akira into a whole live action trilogy.
I am not kidding, google it.

>Oh I have an idea, what if we remake Poldark, but istead of the hero coming back from the American civil war, he's coming back from Africa
>Africa.... Voodoo Magic.... MAKE IT HAPPEN
>everyone says *nootka* and nods in agreement
kek, absolutely awful even by FX standards
Go enjoy the new marvel movie, kiddo.
Is Poldark shot compellingly for a scandiseries? How does its camerawork compare to Wolf Hall or Mad Men for example?
This is a very important question.
>>79712518
Honestly poldark is the only good series to come out of the UK since "The Thick of it"
What was the meaning of the business card scene?

to check these dubs
To establish Batemans psychopathy in even mild shit such as comparing busines cards. And to check em.

>That movie that you know is really good, but you just can't get over the fucking main actor whose face you hate so much
What's her name, /tv/?
From a Screenplay perspective this is a masterpiece. But i just can't fucking stand Jim Carrey, even if he gives a good performance. I can't even tell if he gives a good performance because i hate his facial expressions so much.
He only went full jim carrey mode one time in the whole movie.
The fuck you talking about?
>>79712554
I just don't like his face because i know what kind of expressions he's capable of. Ruined Truman Show for me too. Although in that movie he goes full Jim Carrey a lot.

>The official prologue to Alien: Covenant introduces the crew of the mission as they gather for a final meal before entering cryosleep.
>Set aboard the Covenant, a colonization ship on its way to a remote planet to form a new human settlement, the main crew (all couples) and their android, Walter, enjoy their final meal together before cryosleep.
thoughts?
Who cares about the bait multicultural 'look we've got gays now too' advert propaganda.
I wanna talk about the story.
the big twists are going to be that the black Xenomorph was designed by David and not the engineers and he'll switch places with Walter at the end of the movie.
I speculate that either in this or the next movie, david will use the 2000 colonists on the covenant to make the eggs inside the Juggernaught in 'Alien', then either himself or somebody else crashlands it on LV426 to thwart his plan of fucking over humanity or something

ghost in the shell coming soon !
A shame some of the sets look bland, too dark and not right lighting
This doesn't look good at all. You can hardly make out that those are building in background, room has a bland color and nothing hardly stands out. The bed looks cheaply made
