Was his performance good? I seriously can't tell if it was good or bad.
I liked it. I'm not too familar with the source material though (other than he's a super rich asshole that wants to kill/humiliate Superman) so Eisenberg's schizophrenic psycho act didn't bother me much.
Considering he's an inherently shit actor, I'd say no. He must be sucking a lot of cocks to keep getting so much work.
He tried something different rather than just rehashing Hackman from the original movies, and that's commendable enough. I actually thought he was really good in the scene on the rooftop with Lois, when he dropped the silly maniac act and was just outright threatening. But I didn't think much of his performance as a whole.
what's his fucking problem?
>he put beansie in action

then he put it in reverse

So, why didn't the gloves fit?

Red herring
>On June 22, 1995, Darden told Judge Lance Ito of his concerns that Simpson "has arthritis and we looked at the medication he takes and some of it is anti-inflammatory and we are told he has not taken the stuff for a day and it caused swelling in the joints and inflammation in his hands". The prosecution also stated their belief that the glove shrank from having been soaked in blood and later testing.

What gave you that impression?
Will Tilda Swinton be the next doctor? She has that beautiful intellectual and curious face
She looks great for the role, i really hope so, i believe she could be great, loved her performance in Doctor strange
>she draws power from the Dark Dimension
Dropped so fucking hard
Tilda Swinton scares the shit out of me. Like, if I were just walking around somewhere and Tilda Swinton was there I would get really unnerved and try to avoid making eye contact.

I rewatched it recently. I agree with you on certain aspects of the drama ("most beautiful thing in the world" is a bad scene) but I still really liked the comedy. It's a good movie.

What is the point in arguing what is the best movie in the dullest franchise in history. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

what's the one in the middle?
Just binge watched this movie.
Did anyone else believe women should only be used as sex slaves in a prepper bunker?
The female protagonist single handedly kills eveyone in the
How do you binge watch a movie?
Is it bad I've been crying about Christopher Lee for the past hour and a half?

Why? He died in 2015.
His eyebrows look like my nipples lol

He had a huge part in my childhood
I've never seen any Alien movie before.
Where should I start?
What should I avoid?
What to expect?
>>79741287
just watch the first two: Alien, and then Aliens
the 3rd one is like the first, but in a different setting (it has charles dance in it)
the 4th is unlike the rest, but the final form of the xenomorph and the ending are too corny for me
prometheus is nice to look at but truly a pointless garbage movie
What do you mean where? Fucking watch the first Alien. You can expect a slow but gripping sci-horror movie with a good pay off. Aliens is just as good but it's more of an action flick instead. Alien 3 is a mixed bag but well worth watching if you go for the assembly cut. Disregard the other ones.
>>79741356
Thanks.
>>79741399
I meant like, should I start off with Prometheus first since it's supposed to be a prequel to Alien, or should I just start with Alien?

London After Midnight, a lost Lon Chaney vampire film. Only still remain.
Also Jerry Lewis's "The day the clown cried" about a clown who lead children to the gas chambers during the holocaust. Supposedly he's sitting on the only extant copy.
Are there any films where Tommy Lee Jones covers up his accent?
I'm just curious to know if he's capable of it.
Ain't no money in it. It'd be like Morgan Freeman shouting or Samuel Jackson not.

He does do that in Wanted though.
I mean, you have someone like Gary Oldman who changes his voice constantly and he's everyone's favorite actor. How is there no money in an actor, you know, acting?
