Liked it a lot. Animation was gorgeous, songs were catchy, voice acting was good.

Good kids movie.

If I had to nitpick I'd say the pacing was a little jumpy in places and it was resolved a little quickly at the end.

And if I wanted to reeeeaaaaally nitpick I'd say that some parts of some of the songs lyrics were a bit "this is what I'm doing right this second, my name is Barry and I'm sad". A little on the nose, really spelled out everything so the audience of drooling kids would find it really hard to be confused.
That said the songs ARE great, there wasn't one I didn't like. With "We Know Where We are", "Shiny", "I am Moana" and "You're Welcome" being the standouts.

Depends on the concept, but generally a movie that executes a concept well is going to be better liked. Remember; it's not who did it first, but who did it best that people remember.

I've seen really shitty movies that were very original in their ideas... As much as I think Hollywood is overrun with remakes and low risk investments, I can't sit through another Kevin Smith movie
