How did they manage to get literally everything what made John Wick fun wrong in the sequel?
>JW 1
>simple, hilariously dumb premise
>short length and straight to the point
>John is a fun character because he's angry enough to murder half the city for a dog
>despite being a badass, Wick's operator skills are grounded and he often gets his ass beaten
>self-contained story
>JW 2
>longwinded premise about feuding assassin clan families in Vatican and more bs nobody cares about
>2 hours long
>John has no motivation and goes through the movie with a bored look
>he is now action god and mows people down by hundreds without a scratch despite taking no effort to conceal himself
>come check John Wick 3™": Johnier and Wickier™
I wanted to like JW2
I liked JW2

I don't think we saw the same movie because John Wick 2 took everything from the first one and made it better. Can't wait for John Wick vs the World.
The best fucking movie ever made

>Arrival third panel
dropped so hard
Arrival is the most plebian shit
Anyone know this movie? Was watching it while I was out eating lunch but only saw 5 min of it. It looked like it took place in the late 80s/early 90s. It showed some timid young business lady working on computers and then cheap computerized breast appeared on its screen and the breasts size enhanced. The lady was shocked and left to talk to her colleagues I guess. Anyone know the name? It looked interesting and I thought the lady was qt 3.14.
Pic related. The lady resembled a younger version of Tina Fey.

>oh cool a movie with Tina fey

You read my mind, anon. Need more sexy Tina pics to fuel the fire.
Cats are red / green colourblind. In this panel, Garfield sits on a green floor behind a pinkish-red wall. A cat in this room would have a hard time differentiating the wall from the floor; add to that a cat's known spatial confusion and you have the makings of a cat rage room.

It's absolutely disgusting that the lasagnacat videos aren't getting more attention.
Your orange cat took your pipe wrench!

Those colors aren't the same shades though, and as far as that panel is concerned they have different designs. The cat could easily tell them apart.
This movie changed my life

You decided not to be a dumbass like him?
The official /tv/ position is that this movie sucks and that McCandless was an idiot.
Did it make you become a wizard and die in the woods of food poisoning?
Left or Right?
Post in the thread you dipshit

Constanze
The Right.
This is better than Empire.
>>79784512
I agree. Empire was midquel with no beginning or ending. SW on other hand was pretty straightforward, and i was satisfied after watching it.
Every thread here is more dumber than the last now.
>>79784733
>Empire was midquel with no beginning or ending
this is really not significant, as you can see the movie on its own and find it interesting

So, she was an empty person with nothing original to say?
She was a low-quality person.
Moments of brilliance bogged down stifling negativity and condescension. Should have been a short maybe.
>Perpetually outside and just a little above, Michael is aware of the pathetic yet touching failings that mark everyone else—the people who live and feel firsthand, without the self-awareness of a theoretical and creative observer such as Michael (or Kaufman), but also with greater authenticity and truer humanity. Yet Kaufman betrays himself as much with his condescending compassion as with his withering observations. He builds his modest characters as collections of traits that appear as calculated details drawn from life but serving to do nothing but evoke sighs akin to those yielded by pictures of children and pets. The artificial sweetness and gentle satire of his portraits of characters who could be labeled as everyday people is haughty and incurious.
>The line that he draws between a Michael, who has a creative profession that yields a public identity, and a Lisa (or any of the other people he encounters), who simply work for a living and simply live, is the Hollywood line. With its immense but blank, self-regardingly self-congratulatory sympathy for the benighted masses toiling in their ostensible ordinariness, with its critical judgment of the talented but unfeeling, observant yet selfish minor artistic celebrity, “Anomalisa” looks like the work of an incurious egomaniac of conferences and offices, sets and studios, who hasn’t soiled the soles of his shoes on actual sidewalks for decades.
