Why don't people see the Jedi for what they are, religious zealots? They snatch children away from their parent, make them shun away emotions, and turn them into child soldiers. Also, a former jedi can genocide a whole planet, redeem himself, and then be forgiven and become a jedi force ghost. Seems like bullshit, when will the world open its eyes and become red-sabered?

>They snatch children away from their parent
No they don't. Free will nigga

If religious zealots here on Earf could pull things into their hands, choke people with their minds, lift up boxes and pick up rockses, and fa' Chrissakes make small airplanes rise up out of swamps, maybe I'd say hey, I want to be a zealot too! But they can't. They can't do anything I can't do as a nonbeliever. It kinda says something about the legitimacy of your cult, sect, order, whatever you want to call it, when your followers can do fucking MAGIC. On the other hand, when all your followers can do is hold up signs, shit-talk dead soldiers, go on and on about Jeebus, thump an ancient book and beg for money, but offer no proof for their horseshit, it kinda makes me feel like I'll be richer and better off if I just stay away from their little club. But hell, I'll join up if they can teach me to twist an armed robber's balls just by looking at him sideways.

The Apostles could do miracles
Will we ever get a good Ayn Rand movie? I fucking loved Atlas Shrugged and Objectivism is god-tier ideology, but the movie of Atlas Shrugged sucked.

When was the last time you legitimately walked out of a movie?
What movie was it? Did you get a refund?
I almost walked out of
>pirates 3
>mission impossible 2
>the big bounce
I was fairly young for mi2 but just remember being infuriated with the constant de-masking plot twists. Everyone in school thought that miserable limp bizkit theme song was on par with fucking Mozart so that fueled my dislike.
I never saw the first two pirates but went with a friend for the third. It just went on and on and tried to wrap up every single plot from the last two movies, which I didnt see, and turned into this obstacle between me and going to bed.
I saw the big bounce because I always relented to movies my friend wanted see in high school. Another friend, who was there with me, and I began to exchange looks about a quarter of the way through as it became clear the film was a pile of convoluted dog shit. We only stayed because our other friend seemed to enjoy it. I should have known what I was in for when billed names and faces didn't even line up on the poster.
I've lost track of how many movies I've seen in theatres over the years. Most were banal, anodyne, and forgetable. I forget those. I just remember the great and the atrocious.

Also, I just read about the big bounce. The original cut was Nc-17 but it wound up pg-13.
Some raunchy sex scenes would have definitely made me hate it less. Shame.
Drag Me to Hell
niggers sat right in front of me and had a loud conversation. I repeatedly asked them to be quiet, they ignored me.
Walked out, got refund, told manager why, never went back.

Between the David Lynch movie, and the mini series, why the fuck is it so hard for people to just stick to the source material?
Do we have any hopes for legendary to do right by the books?
