>/tv/ watches a musical for the first time in their lives

>BLACKED
winning feels so good
>>79872592
>BLACK
Literally the only reason it won. Hollywood didn't want to appear as "out of touch" and "self-congratulatory". It's too bad it can't just be about the films.
i don't get what you americans see in the musicals
they are cheap entertaiment
how did it get btfo you dumb nigger
Congratulations !
Muunraito?
fuck off nip
Name a movie that has this level of creativity when it comes to aliens.

what's so special about this? it looks like the wire mesh dishwashing thingy. all grey and mechanical.
Fifth element

>Brian acts like a liberal asshole who pushes the "blacks are opressed" meme
>A black guy is racist and learns his lesson
Is Family Guy redpilled? Compared to the vomit inducing liberal shilling of the modern Simpsons, feels like it.

They ' re just trying to appeal to your shitty demographic. They used to be lefty when it was the most popular side.
The fact that you like such a shitty show just because you agree with its political message is really fucking sad.
>>79873276
Nah, I actually watch it because I find it funny.

The fact he basically remade Umbrellas of Cherbourg but with shitty music.

Not the only meme anymore.

he has fucking everything and needs to be brought down a peg
also both his flicks are very niche
I didn't see shit this year but Arrival, Hell or High Water, Manchester by the Sea, and Hacksaw Ridge all sound better than gay niggers or faggy camp musical
>>79872017
Hell or High Water should of won best picture in a perfect world because it would inspire studios to attempt to make more movies up to that genuine quality but Manchester by the Sea was definitely the best out of all of them.
>>79872082
I saw all of them except for arrival, lion, and fences (hidden figures doesn't count)
>hell or highwater
>manchester
>hacksaw
>moonlight
>lalalandthe real best picture of 2016 was silence but oh well
>>79872154
this
silence was the true winner but nobody saw it
You guys ever consider not watching The Oscars?
You'd certainly save yourselves from experiencing all of this frustration and outright anger displayed here this morning.
>>79871944
I didn't watch them but I have to hear about them from all of you faggots and probably several of the worker drones who think they're allowed to speak to me at the office tomorrow. I'm going to keep a running tally in my head of every time one of them brings it up to me and when we have paycuts later this year or I have to chose people to lose insurance they'll be the ones that get chosen first.
>>79872037
>and probably several of the worker drones who think they're allowed to speak to me at the office tomorrow
you sound like a supreme gentleman
>>79871944
I almost considered turning it off because It's a bunch a bullshit where Hollywood pats themselves on the back and gives out most of the medals based on politics, but I'm glad I kept It on in the background so I could witness the absolute blunder live
I legitimately thought the La La Land guy was doing an Adele thing where he says "You guys won too because I need my daily instake lefty browny points", but nope, legitimate blunder of the century.
>Oh no our shitty awards show is becoming irrelevant
>better make dim witted Trump jokes at every juncture and use ham fisted forced diversity for extra media coverage
>this is my first ever Academy Awards
cool anon. I hope you liked it.
>>79871827
The Mel Gibson jokes were cringier than the Trump ones imo.
>better make threads about how irrelevant the oscars i watched are because otherwise it impacts too many people with it's wrongthink decisions

This film is so fucking kino. Moonlight doesn't come close, honestly thought they were fucking with us for Best Picture

La la land or manchester by the sea could have been the greatest movie in the history of cinema and they still wouldn't have won, but at least have some integrity when it comes to your taste
>>79871537
>This film is so fucking kino
why?
>The Oscars don't have a diversity probl-
>diversity is essential to quality
>>79871453
I hate all of them.
and they are all talentless

Congrats to black america tonight. You whined enough last year to get showered with meaningless awards now that they hand them out just to appease the chimp-outs
You sound mad cracka
Back to your pol safe space
I would let them chimp out. They're dumb enough to target their own communities, they'd be the ones primarily affected. It might even wake up some people.

Are there any good movies that deal with depression as their main focus? You see movies about drug addicts, sexual minorities, people with serious physical illnesses like cancer etc., but right now I can't think of one major movie that deals seriously with depression although it's such a huge and prevalent problem in todays world.
welcome to the nhk
Do you get off on selfpity?
>>79871425
as someone who was formerly severely depressed and isn't anymore this is such an oversimplification
