looks like every wannabe pseudo artsy indie horror /thriller/drama sundance bait film of the last few years
that trailer doesn't say too much, the clips are not interesting and the music is dull
>>79977555
this is a very controversial film because it could easily be used to push some political agenda but im interested in how it could potentially shed light on mental illness (while of course giving some kind of closure to the families that were affected by this incident) and to show the true tragedy behind the story as something more than a terrifying and horrific massacre initiated by some completely sadistic psycho killer. I'm not trying to justify what the shooter did but people are people and sometimes we forget. sometimes we treat other human beings as lesser because they don't live up to what is seen as normal in society. Human beings are highly social animals and thrive optimally around other human beings. what happens when a person is rejected from their group or allow themselves to drift away due to circumstances they can't control? Nobody wants to be alone. some people are content and can deal with being alone but some people fall into a hole of anxiety and desperation and sometimes do things they never imagined they were capable of doing. I guess what i was hoping for from this movie is that they kind of address this theme and try to normalized mental illnesses that can be cancerous in how they gradually spread and eat away at regular people who in another world might have lived completely different lives. Not trying to be on some pretentious shit ive just always been interested in people as someone who isn't the most stable mentally. from the trailer i was hoping they would show the lives of some of the victims along side the shooter, just to remind us that everyone of them were individuals that lived their own separate lives. they were all just people, even the shooter though he made the selfish decision to take the lives of people who didn't deserve it, i feel that was the true tragedy. that a single individual spiraled into an endless void of fear and depression and that other individuals were impacted by it

Why are we supposed to care about this piece of shit getting killed?

Accurate.
Season 10, Episode 4 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Thoughts on this episode?
I think it is the best work of the show, absolutely fantastic. The "Birdman" type cinematography (it was actually filmed and released before Birdman) was amazing.
No other episode enraptures Charlie Days talent as well as this episode.
I h8 gimmick episodes
even though it was well done
>>79977109
this and baugs challenge episode are my favorite episodes of the show. Not only because of the long cuts but because of the dialouge that needs to be created to go with the flow of the style of filming
>>79977144
one thing that sort of got to me a bit was the "alright, alright, alright" thing from dazed and confused. that gimmick didn't sit well with me.
>>79977148
the baugs challenge episode had some genuinely hilarious moments in it, more so than this episode.

what do you guys think of don't breathe? I'm watching it right now and these kids are completely retarded
I thought the same thing that's why I quit paying attention after the first fifteen minutes. My wife finished it though. Not sure if I'm the stupid one or she is.
Only part that interested me was later on when he got all freaky with the girl and shit because I'm a perverted faggot.
>>79977172
why did this get good reviews? the writing is terrible. I don't know if I can finish this
>>79976793
I thought it was pretty well made, but when hebreaks free from the basement, rushes up to the front door, and grabs his gun, all without making a sound,it dropped to a 6/10 for me, from a 7. There really wasn't a whole lot to keep me engaged, and I can't really pinpoint why. At some point I just stopped giving a fuck what happened to the characters because the film pulled so many bait and switches on whether they'll live, die, or escape. There's only two fucking possible outcomes: They live, they don't. All the bait and switch just got boring and I stopped caring.
But I don't know if that's because I've seen enough movies in my life that this wasn't surprising, or if it's just boring. I imagine this film did very well with the 13-18 year old crowd.
Is A Field in England actually worth watching, or is it just another one of those artsy black-and-white shit-flicks?
>>79976727
A bit of both
I think it's Wheatley's best film. Kill List is okay up until the last quarter were it ruins the suspense it spent the whole film building.

Awful.

okay
it's the worst of his films i've seen, it feels like he just made it to build up the experience and refine his craft for Happiness
A bit weird of a movie. I couldn't let a pleb know I watched it or they'd think I'm a freak worth crucifying.
>>79976117
I loved it. It's hilarious and I really appreciated how he let the kids be vulgar as shit. I think it's his best movie.
>>79976167
It's definitely rough but I think his characters are best-written and realized in this movie. The love story felt very organic.
best cruise films?
What do you think he did today? What did you do today?

This movie was entertaining as fuck
Degenerate filth.
That's not an uncommon opinion. There's a big consensus that it's way better than it should be, even if it's still trashy.
But I only laughed once.
