WHO DID HE PISS OFF TO DESERVE THIS WORLD CLASS BULLYING
What do you think of this?
Bad photoshop with the hair
>>80012037
Fan art. The movie is not happening.
Only if Lydia has hairy armpits, legs, and forearms.
Do you think he is over it yet?
>>80011988
the stunt they pulled wasn't even worth it, nobodys talking about anymore. Moonlight should have won and that's it.
I am sure he just has to look at his bank account
>>80011988
He knows he's talentless. I don't even think he really cares either because of all the money he's made.
What was his fucking problem?
It's just smell.
He was a faulty program that didn't understand that humans were batteries, but thought the Matrix could suffer pollution and therefore thought the simulation was like a virus.
He had trouble coping with the fact he was gunna be the most iconic and evilest villain since darth vader
>"For the Battle of Coruscant sequence I wanted to depict a grand scale space battle with capital ships. We have seen dogfights before, but no capital ship against capital ship battles where both sides unleash their entire arsenals to decimate the enemy fleet."
>"Some people have asked me why I chose to have the ships so close to one another rather than very far away, which would be very possible and probably more reasonable considering the technology they have access to. The truth is that I wanted to capture that iconic pirate ship battle atmosphere where two ships lined up next to each other and unloaded, and I wanted to underline the defeat of a ship by making it appear to drop toward the planet, like an airplane that's been shot down. Very dramatic visuals overall."
>"Another reason for that decision is that a space battle between ships that are very far away from each other is a very boring affair. You hear the command to fire weapons. Sometime later you may or may not see a successful hit. You fire, you wait, you fire, you wait. Maybe you would see some blip on a radar screen. Very dry and calculated, much like submarine movies, which aren't known for exciting battles. It wouldn't have conveyed the tension and energy I wanted the scene to have."
Do you agree with Lucas?
Why do you keep making this thread?
>>80011913
>I wanted an epic space battle
That was the greatest 15 second space scene ever...
>>80011913
it was really good, one of the only things lucas got right on the prequels.
you could really feel the battle.
Why is this movie so good?
It's a 2deep4you movie made for highschoolers
>>80011940
I thought it was pretty straight forward. Didn't seem too deep or hard to fully grasp at all.
It's the essence of the 90s mentality, as in where Americans have achieved their "dream" only to be miserable.
A reminder that LOTR is nothing but childish banalities.
Let based George elaborate.
>Ruling is hard. This was maybe my answer to Tolkien, whom, as much as I admire him, I do quibble with. Lord of the Rings had a very medieval philosophy: that if the king was a good man, the land would prosper. We look at real history and it’s not that simple. Tolkien can say that Aragorn became king and reigned for a hundred years, and he was wise and good. But Tolkien doesn’t ask the question: What was Aragorn’s tax policy? Did he maintain a standing army? What did he do in times of flood and famine? And what about all these orcs? By the end of the war, Sauron is gone but all of the orcs aren’t gone – they’re in the mountains. Did Aragorn pursue a policy of systematic genocide and kill them? Even the little baby orcs, in their little orc cradles?
>The war that Tolkien wrote about was a war for the fate of civilization and the future of humanity, and that’s become the template. I’m not sure that it’s a good template, though. The Tolkien model led generations of fantasy writers to produce these endless series of dark lords and their evil minions who are all very ugly and wear black clothes. But the vast majority of wars throughout history are not like that.
>>80011857
Yeah I'm sure he quibbles with this dead author every night in his most demeaning nightmares.
What about their farming cycles? They spent a lot of their time fighting a war, did they store enough wheat for the winter?
>>80011857
Does this baffling idiot not understand that LOTR doesn't intend to portray reality? Its fucking idealistic on purpose, harking back to the ancient epics of Greece etc etc
>Indiana Jones will return to the big screen on July 19, 2019, for a fifth epic adventure in the blockbuster series. Steven Spielberg, who directed all four previous films, will helm the as-yet-untitled project with star Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role. Franchise veterans Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall will produce.

Harrison Ford must want to fucking kill himself.
>>80135602
>Harrison Ford reprising his iconic role
Heh guess Shia taking up the lead mantle in the franchise didn't work out like they planned
why
What is /tv/'s opinion on Mulholland Drive?
Very good, but overrated. Blue Velvet is still Lynch's best film.
it's a flick, not a film
>>80011884
This. Poorman's Blue Velvet. Lynch struck the gold with BV and has been ripping it off ever since. WIH, TP, LH, MD, IE are all Blue Velvet ripoffs, only the scales are different.
>muh dark underbelly of ________ (insert location)

What did Ridley mean by this?
>>80010764
ridley is legitimately senile.
>>80010764
Looks badazz
>>80010764
Don't even bother watching it. The asian in Prometheus was cute. The Ripley in the new movie looks like Lena Dunham.
