Are there any erotic films that are actually good films?
*teleports behind you*
I too am interested in this.
I've recently realized erotic dramas and thrillers - especially from the 90s - are actually really aesthetic and of course quite funny.
Some essentials: Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, Dressed to Kill, Flowers in the Attic, Body Double, Eyes Wide Shut, Poison Ivy, Wild Things.
I want to delve into more obscure Lifetime Channel sleaze and cable softcore movies.
The Cook, The Wife, The Thief, Her Lover
Have a couple days for myself to get as high and drunk as I can then stay awake, recc movies and series that would be good in the situation.
I'll start with what I know I'll be watching, pic related.
Big Trouble in Little China
Poultrygeist (on Troma's official Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZxo9AwQxk8 )
Eight Legged Freaks
Fantastic Planet
He's not really gone is he?
He will probably come back if his new NBC show fails to take off.
Personally I hope they have one more season without him and the final couple of episodes is Dennis coming back to show the gang a life outside of the bar, then they can all go their separate ways.

Flash Gordon is based on a comic book, Anon
>>80239844
Because it's funny.
Capeshit is just wankfests without substance.
>>80239844
You thinking about this Flash Gordon?
What's up with movies being so long nowadays? Every movie runs well over 2 hours now
>>80239768
>nowadays
Hate to break it to you anon, but films always varied in length.
You were just a filthy pleb back in the day and watched exclusively normie trash and studio calculated "hour and 30 minutes" long blockbusters

BADONKAPARPLOP!
>the prophecy says the hero will beat the bad guy and make everything right
How does outright telling you the MC will win make for an interesting premise? Why aren't there histories where the hero is trying to make a prophecy not come true instead?
The Harry Potter fandom is made up of people who like everything to be safe to be left unchallenged.
check out maps to the stars by david cronenberg
honestly just fuck prophecies in general. they always come true in some fashion so there's never any tension, and when some no name schmuck has this great adventure thrust on him because some prophecy told him so, it feels forced. like the character doesn't need drive to do the right thing, they'll do it anyway because the prophecy says so. fuck that noise.
Prove me wrong.

kino
It was too fucking long
Why do movie-makers continue to use full CGI, which always looks shitty and dated a month later, when they already achieved the best results using real, physical effects back in the 90s, which still hold up today?
>>80238806
Because autists arent the target demographic.
>>80238806
CGI is cheaper & easier and it's not really up to the director.
This is such a meme opinion. Practical effects can look shitty too.
is this the best reality show ever created?
pls respong
>netflix
nah
>>80238803
Arman, Hikaru and Han were best boys. Wasn't the same after chef guy and Yuuki came.
This is the best film I have ever seen. It's quite simply flawless.
Peak realist art.
