It's certainly "well made," but it just feels like an overly designed amalgam of tropes from other critically acclaimed tv shows. I guess it worked because everyone loves the shit out of this, but to me it just feels empty and lacking creativity. Kevin Spacey's character brings nothing new to the "sociopathic antihero" character we've seen plenty of times in recent tv history and his scheming gets old after a while. People shit of Breaking Bad for being shallow, but I'd take Walter White over this dude any day of the week.

They try to cover too much ground in too little amount of time. They don't get to focus on anything interesting so the whole movie comes off as mostly dull with little worth remembering. Johnny Depp was the only one able to show some depth with his character, though complaints about his acting as >>80357944 mentions are quite common. Also Corey Stoll and Fat Damon are terrible and need to quit getting so many jobs.
